A book called "Batman/Superman Crossfire"

Is that out already?

I heard about it.

I think it's a leak.

so does anyone believe Latino Reviews claims????

WB is laying on the line is the only thing I agree with. It's all or nothing for them.

WB imo is more worried this film is not a "play it safe" crowd pleaser like the MCU films. Therefore it will be polarizing.

This film is very risky and its either sink or swim.

BVS is crushing it on Google trends.

Advance tickets coming soon? Numbers for Movieinsider is insane, too.

How's this a risk? Putting Batman and Superman together is the safest box office draw they could possibly do.

Suicide Squad is the much bolder move IMO.

They spent so much on the film.

Yes I believe that WB is worried and that BvS will get a very mixed reception just like MOS.

But they're pretty stupid if they're still going to move right onto JL and keep Snyder as director in that scenario.

Because it was a safe bet.

The risky thing they did was making this the spring board to go straight into Justice League. But they probably saw that as the "safe" option as well.

Studios are always worried. WB was worried about Mad Max as well. Whenever a studio places millions in a movie, they generally worry. Nothing is new here.

Why worry about mixed receptions?
People pay for tickets first before casting their opinions.

Just like Force Awakens.

Yeah true. Especially when there's a lot at stake with this movie. Still don't want Snyder to do JL though. Even if BvS rocks, I'd still prefer him to take a back seat (maybe overseeing) but get someone new and more talented behind the camera.

Because it will effect future box office success for the DCEU in general.

There again, "Mixed" reception's not so bad. Because that could still mean 60-70% of audiences loving it, whilst 30-40% hate on it.

It's not like Mad Max was a big success or anything

It was both a critical success and BO success. Doubles its money to where it will get a sequel.
