Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

There's a rumor that Joker makes a flashback cameo of

I doubt the movie will flop money wise. I'm sure WB has weird, excessive ideas of what a "success" would entail, but the subject matter of the movie alone should guarantee some very high takings.

I'm more worried about it being good.

I'm sure it'll be a decent film. But still hoping for a Great film.

I'm confident it will be good. I'm expecting Ben,Eisenberg to be great. WW to be a breakout character.

The few articles I've read about the actual movie have praised Eisenberg for his portrayal.

Whether that translates as him being a good Lex, I don't know, because far too many of those people don't seem to read the damn comics.

I expect the action to be good, and Affleck to be good. I think Superman will be better than he was in MoS. The rest... I'll see I guess. I know I'm going to be harsher on this than any other movie this year though, as I doubt X-Men will come close to being what I'd like it to be anyway. At least with this, there's a chance.

So they are saying Warner will consider it a failure if it doesn't hit a billion. If it doesn't I'm going to laugh my ass off. I think it will in the global market but the fear is definitely palpable. Playa, golgo if this movie fails and is garbage I will rub it in for all time.

Oh about some of those BvS test screenings mentioned a while back, most apparently went well, some were middling, but nothing disastrous.

I can totally see Affleck-Batman becoming the focal point to JL/DCCU, just like Downey-IM is to Avengers/MCU

@ Zack Well if that's from Umberto ha contacts who've seen the movie are probably WB representatives.

Just too many whispers now Golgo of people who've seen this saying it's not "great." That doesn't mean it sucks or anything, but I think our expectations need a reality check for this.

I'm not going to believe anyone at this point. I'll go in to see the movie myself. Umberto stated that ones who loved/liked MOS will like this, so I think I'm in for a treat. 😛

^ Yeah seems like it. People who liked MOS will love this. People who hated MOS will carry on complaining with this.

Just think this needed better than "mixed" reception.

Also think if that ends up being true about mixed reception then Snyder needs to get off JL tbh.

The only thing that matters is that most of the GA likes this, which they did for MOS. As I posted the article above, there is a misconception that most people hated MOS, but in fact most people liked it as it had strong sales in the DVD/blue ray sales and good box office for a reboot.
