He's too "hit and miss" to put this and both JL movies on him IMO.If he completely nailed it with MOS and it made like almost a Billion dollars or something, then I'd get it. But looking at his record I really don't get why they'd risk everything on this 1 guy. Just my thoughts anyway.
I thought so too, but I generally like his movies. The only one I didn't like was Sucker Punch. Sorry, but he's directing JLA. Starts shooting in April.

DT,Thing of note with what Zack is saying, seems the studio has enough faith in Synder's helming of BvS to give him JP Pt1.
And despite MoS not being a superb SH flick, Synder does have Watchmen under his belt, so the ability to do a great SH adaptation is in his powers.
For now they've given hm both JL's.
I hope the faith in him is well founded. But the way I see it, Favreau wasn't given Avengers after IM1. He was just given IM2. Neither was Gunn given Infnity War based on GOTG. He's just given GOTG2 for now.
Russo's have been given a lot after WS, but there's time to change that if Civil War underperforms, or recieves mixed reception. WS was also significantly more profitable and well received than MOS.
I do wish DC had a Feige in charge of all this. But doesn't seem like they do. Anyway let's just hope Snyder suddenly becomes the next Gunn or Russos after this.

To be fair, I think they panicked a bit when Whedon told them to **** off. I wouldn't be surprised if the Russo's weren't their first choice.
^ Lol You're very easily pleased Golgo. End if the day credit or fault is all down to the director. Like Robtard said, If BvS fails to perform, Snyder will be out.

Yeah that's probably true. Whedon made it clear he couldn't be arsed anymore.

Rob is the guy who loves mindless action and squeezing as many characters into a film with no buildup as soon as possible.
Quan will love this film.
