@ Zack Well it does have Batman! Maybe if BvS is so awesome that it builds up goodwill for the DCEU.

But I doubt something like SS could make a Billion for its first film.

@Ares MOS showed how Superman fights but it didn't portray his Speed like the comics do. I don't mean combat speed, I just mean speed in general. Superman Returns did a good job of that with the machine gun scene.

I predict (And I may be wrong) that SS will break the August record, which is held by GOTG. Could it hit a billion? The only way it will hit a billion is if the legs/buzz is good, because the Joker and Batman sells. And then you have Will Smith on top of that, who will bring in the overseas money. Would be amazing if both BVS and SS hit a billion in a row. Not even Marvel has done that, I believe.

Marvel did that with Avengers and IM3.

You shouldn't get too excited Zack. WB will be very happy if SS makes $500mill WW.

I cant wait for the Snyder's true vision edition

Well, we have diversity and options people, not a bad thing:

- You want good storylines with good drama and creative/diverse use of powers? You have FOX X Men series

-You want the most brutal, over the top and true to the comics high tier superhuman action between heroes and villains on the screen? You have DC Movie Verse fot that.

- You want family friendly watered down shitty weak villains, dumbed down powerhouses, bad jokes left and right, lame and slow superhuman action and the most mediocre, almost direct to TV/DVD cinematography on cinema? You have MCU for that

The fight between the knians and Superman wasn't over the top. It was repetitive and boring. It lacked am emotional buildup and I couldn't wait for it to end. The chemistry between Clark and Lois was flat. Zod was an ineffectual villain beaten in the films intro and killed at the films climax. So forgive me for stating the obvious but Man of Steel was below average. Awful start to their combined universe. If you want to eat horseshit that's fine but don't expect me to, biff.

Saw that this will be getting an R-rated cut for Blu-ray. I'll probably just wait for that.
Good call.

Not likely. There was a Rated R cut on the shelf a while ago.

so then why release this information weeks before the film comes out????

I don't think anyone knows at this point. There is a big rumor that

Spoiler:
Dan Amboyer is Hal Jordan and that he'll appear at the end

However, El Miyambe said that role was given to a big name, so...

eh maybe or as I call him el micshit isn't always truthful.. in fact why hasn't he talked about what his former employers said about the film costing $400 million dollars to make??? The one truthful fact is that nobody knows exactly how this all plays out until it actually opens

Low expectations are good.

Golgo predicted both easily break one billion. He is basically implying marvel is quaking in their boots. He's an idiot.

Men in Black 3, probably.

I'm expecting more. Like Jayden stated, MIB did 624 M WW. Hancock did 624 as well, and I am Legend did 585. Will Smith is still pretty popular overseas. Adding the Joker and Batman just adds more interest. 😉

We have seen batman and the joker how many times now. Meh. The exciting stuff is taking place in the marvel universe while the predictable stuff will be taking place in the DC universe.

Yeah, BOTH Hancock and MIB did 624 M WW. Hancock didn't even have the 3-d/IMAX bump, either.

So with Will Smith here you have nothing to fear. 😂

No not really. Speed wasn't portrayed that well. Fox did a far superior job with Quicksilver.

Agreed, a true demonstration of speed is seeing other things slow relative to your perceptions, which MoS did not do at all.

Superman Returns did do that aspect better.

Yes legendary fights scenes like this

Also I still don't get why people associate great villains and great fights with a strong brick punchfest.

Zod, Doomsday, Orion, Darkseid(when they come) - All equal strong bricks with a destruction porn punch fest.

Because a epic punchfest is still better compared to:

-A villain beated by a dance off from generic wise cracking white guy #2523

-Another bad guy killed by Ex Miss Coldplay (shitting on the only relevant Iron Man villian in the process)

-Forgettable futuristic space elf killed via deux ex machina by Natalie Portman

-Marvel's most dangerous killer bot was pretty much a harmless comical ragdoll who had his ass kicked by almost every character in that movie

- Almost forgot, how anyone can forget the memorable army of generic mooks from the two avengers movies.....

I can go on....

If you dont have a problem on how lame and bad is Marvel with their villains and 3rd acts/final encounters, good for you I guess.... thank god we have Marvel Fox verse

and People liked DBZ MoS Superman, not the drama driven almost creepy Superman from Superman Returns.

Must you son incessantly about the superior marvel universe. It's bad enough DC stole marvels Abom and call him Doomsday. Just stfu and quit being a DC crybabyboi.

Do not be ridiculous. And your obsession with Khan is quite amazing. I am the best.
