well what if Affleck talks the way he did in The Town or has a similar voice that Bale did?

Why would he do that, though? Neither is at all like his real voice.

Let me guess your one of these people, Who have stopped calling a black board a black board because it might offend coloured people.

No Kaz, a black board is still a black board.
And on this black-board, write out a hundred times, "The number 2 is spelled "two" not "too". "

I'm just one of those people who believes that literacy is important if you want to be taken seriously, regardless of what your opinion is.

Did you name those 5 yet, Grammar King?

Yes, I'm saying they've always played themselves no matter what movie they've starred in.
Then you have no idea what you're talking about.

You are the Ben-Man of posters.

Seriously what's the point?
You've already rigged the question by omitting Sparrow from the argument.

And why is 5 the magical number to prove all?

Lulz. You make the claim that every character he plays is "a comical drug addict", but can't name a single role he has played like that besides Sparrow. You should research your claims before posting them rather than worry about someone's grammar.

Depp has gotten lazy as an actor within the last decade or so, but if you think he plays the same person in all of his movies, you're talking out of your ass.

I never claimed that EVERY character Depp has played has been a comical drunk/drug addict.
I claimed he is FAMOUS for playing quirky roles, regardless of whether substance abuse was part of the character.

Quirky Roles;
Tonto
Dark Shadows
Ed S/Hands
*Blow
*Rum Diary
*Pirates Franchise
*Dead Man
*Sleepy Hollow
*Fear/Loathing
*From Hell
*Ed Wood
Alice in Wonderland
Wonka
Imaginarium
Benny & Joon
Cry Baby

Hell, I just pointed out 8 (*) movies where his character is either drug or alcohol or both induced. That's 3 more than the 5 you asked. Plus all the movies I've listed above is simply Depp "playing another quirky role."

Esau, just fight me irl.

And yet he's been the most prolific in the last decade. 🙄

Being famous for playing drunk & drug addicted characters in a comical way

Nobody you listed (besides Sparrow 😂 ) fits your criteria here.

Can we hug & kiss after?

Maybe a Dutch Rudder too?

I must've missed the news that cocaine is no longer considered a drug.

I must have missed the news that Blow was a comedy.

Which has nothing to do with what we're talking about...

Nothing we've discussed was meant to fall into a genre.
We were talking about the diversity or lack of.

We were talking about an actor choosing lazy roles...for which he is most famous for.

We were talking about you thinking Depp plays himself in every movie and how we have all agreed that you are wrong.

Being famous for playing drunk & drug addicted characters in a comical way doesn't exactly scream versatile.

You have contradicted yourself.
