well since this is allegedly the most anticipated film this year.. all the hype that the film has.... the casting of an allege god actor who is a better writer/director.. the great Zach Snyder who some in this very thread wanna shag,, I can keep going... Also its not even a march record which is held by the first Hunger Games film.... again too if the rumor of this costing a combined $400 milioon dollars to make.......

Again it depends on good the legs are. How hard is it to understand that?
you don't comprehend much .... even IF the film has legs which nobody knows doesn't mean anything.. most films that open with this type dough will tap at or around $700 million ww.. the first hunger games film opened too $ 152.5 million and tapped out at $694.4 million ww.. this film MUST, REPEAT MYUST open to at the very least $180 million domestic in order for WB to be happy.. also you still have never ever answered why your good friend Umberto has never responded too his
former employer when they said the film cost $400 million dollars.. hmm I wonder why???

Since that figure is now just the marketing budget of some movies.
the marketing budget for this is at least $150 million, the film itself prolly did cost close too if not over $250 million...

we all are.. I wanna see a really good, if not great film.. I also wanna see the fil be a financial success which hopefully it will be
Originally posted by BruceSkywalkerI highly doubt this is the most anticipated. Civil War or Star Wars has that title.

As I pointed out earlier DC is gonna get a lot of the money back from advertising. Then you have home video sales......

I'm saying if it has a strong multiplier similar to furious 7. Furious 7 didn't have OW records but strong wom and legs.

And I thought that movie sucked.
Either way it made damn near the same as the Avengers with 1.5 billion and it didn't have a 200 plus opening weekend. Avatar only had a 90 something opening weekend and it's the #1 movie world wide. I'm not saying BVS will have a billion plus ww, but it all depends on WOM.

Yes. That's why TFA is sitting at #84 on IMDB's highest rated movie list...Oh wait. I get that you don't like the film, but the audience reception for the film was fantastic. Better than almost any major superhero film sans perhaps TDK.
Calm down.
FYI I never once said the movie sucks or I don't like it. Whilst many people here actually did say that.

I think the JLA will do more, especially if BVS is received well and people begging for a solo Batman title. Looks like SS will be a big hit, too.
Maybe. But it's no certainty IMO.
Batman and Superman are the 2 big draws for DC. So this might be their biggest movie for a long while. Especially since they're not going the Marvel route giving all the heroes a solo movie building up to JL
Also remember Age of Ultron didn't do as well as A1. Despite A1 being really well recieved. So simply being a sequel to a well received movie won't necessarily cut it.
