I'm saying it's currently the most hyped movie. Of course logic would dictate that JL will be more hyped; assuming BvS is Avengers level good.

Most hyped movie for DC? Definitely, although, I think TDK comes in #1. It sold the most tickets of any super hero movie. Even the Avengers.

TDK was in it's own Universe. What I'm saying is BvS is basically the movie that NEEDS to succeed for DC. It's their everything. If this flops (which I don't see happening); it would be devastating.

I agree. The way DC are going about it, JL will not be their Avengers. JL will be the sequel to BvS but with more heroes added, much like AOU was to Avengers1.

Honestly Cyborg's and Aqua man's inclusions ****ing suck.

I've never had any interest in them as characters, and I hope they detract minimally from the action between Supes, Batman, and Wonder Woman.

they will be canon fodder lol, Batman will be saving their asses.. hahaha..

Merely pointing out that you were incorrect.

Not really. You jumping in over me saying "a lot of people" (not the vast majority) think TFA was "good but not spectacular" and using the IMDb ranking to "Prove" my statement wrong, does sound like some sort of crazy fanboy tbh.

IM3 and AOU both have pretty good IMDb scores so I guess "Everyone" thinks those were pretty good movies right?

A movie that was generally considered "spectacular" by the "vast majority" (as far as I can tell)would be something like Avengers 1 or TDK.

Now correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember any significant online campaigns to get rid of Whedon/Nolan or to bring back Favreau/Burton for the sequels. Or interviewers questioning Whedon/Nolan over complaints that people had about their respective movies. Or just generally people we know telling us they thought those movies were big disappointments.

I'm not denying TFA was a massive success but I really don't see why you're denying there have been plenty of people who had issues with it, and using IMDb to just turn a blind eye to that. And then jumping people for bringing up not everyone "loved it".

FYI after seeing it for a 3rd time I enjoy TFA much more now. Finn steals that movie for me and has become one of my favourite Star Wars characters.

How is WB going on about it?

That doesn't mean BVS is DC's Avengers.

You say that like he doesn't already.

You could still see it that way though; it is the first DC movie in which we'll get the novelty of seeing all of these characters, even if they aren't necessarily teaming up.

Details emerge for the Ultimate Edition

http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/batman-v-superman-r-rated-ultimate-edition-details-begin-to-emerge

“There’s not a lot of blood in our movies,” Roven told Entertainment Weekly. “The ratings board also judges their PG-13 and R ratings by what they consider to be a level of intensity and how much that intensity goes throughout the entire movie. There are some pretty intense scenes in Batman v Superman, and if they went on longer and had that same level of intensity, that might cause the ratings board to shift their rating.”

Pretty much what I had in mind.

I don't get why "intensity" is something that can raise a rating, tbh. Even Star Wars and LOTR can be intense.

It's a really vague, catch-all word.

The last Hobbit movie received a rated R. It was an intense action scene with little blood. Sounds like what is happening in BVS.

From Anthony Breznican's Twitte:

With all the details coming out it really feels like there's not much left to know about BvS. Would you say that's true?

ANTHONY ANSWERS: Not at ALL. I'm actually sitting on five things I don't want to write about until *after* the movie is out.

Yeah, they're being strange in their marketing for sure. Showing us too much of one thing but keeping others under wraps. At least I hope that's what it is.

Lol the U.S. movie ratings board is a bunch of pussies.

I think the reason they showed the money shot with Wonder Woman (Second trailer) is to attract the female audience. If you look at my link to Umberto Gonzale's breakdown of OW/Box office, BVS had a first choice of 23% and it's still 3 weeks left to go. At that point Jurassic World did 16%. In terms of the MALE audience, BVS is out of this world with like 98% or something. With the FEMALES, BVS isn't doing bad, but they could increase it a lot more, like what Star Wars did. Once more and more females are attracted to this, BVS has a solid shot at breaking 200 M OW.

I'm not saying it will do 200 OW, but if they can attract the female audience and families, it has a good shot. Pre-sale tickets are doing strong, but not out of this world.

Yes it is. You just don't want to label it that because if it fails to live up to Avengers 1 you're going to drown in a pool of your own tears.
