It's only promising if they get a good screen writer. From all the early reviews/reactions, people have been praising the script. I'm kinda sad that Terrio won't write Part 2.

That's the light tone they're gong for in Justice League.

The darker BvS will have Mamoa not speaking in English, and being angry the whole time.

Nobody claimed it didn't, dummy. A lot of the budget was recouped through product placement.

THELEFTOVERS predicts BVS will do 192+24 in previews for opening weekend, which is a big 216 OW! He was VERY close to IM 3 OW by his formula.

That includes marketing though. Even if it wasn't recuperating a lot of its marketing costs through product placements that'd mean it would need to gross around $800million WW to break even, which it should do easily.

It's actual budget is around $250million which is roughly the same as Avengers. And not massively above MOS.
