The grim dark tone works because of the 2 opposing sides of Bats & Supes.
It would be too grim if every member of the JL took things as seriously.
When it becomes obvious that Bats is the only human on the team, I can easily see him becoming the butt of any light banter between them all. Being grim & serious will always make him the target of jokes inside the group.

No real major spoilers, but the word is very positive. Even for Eisenberg. Also said DD looks a lot better in the film.

Not true. My only concern is that people are saying its like Man of Steel or follows that formula. So imo those are not good signs. MOS was average at best and they seem to be following the same formula instead of fixing their mistakes.
The only reason I posted that is because Golgo basically called me a liar when I said I have seen negative reviews for this movie. I have seen them and they have been deleted.

I like dark movies as well if done right. I like dark movies more than lighthearted ones TBH. Doesnt mean everything should be dark even if it doesnt fit the character at all.
Why would anyone make a super dark movie about Spiderman for example? Thats not who he is in the comics. Just like Superman isnt Batman.
And do you even read comics? There are jokes and 1 liners in even the darkest most "mature" comics.
