Ben was amazing but I think Robert Downy JR has played Tony Stark just as well in every movie the character has appeared, including AOUAlthough I think Ben is my favorite live action Batman as well now.
The thing about RDJ is, it's basically RDJ being RDJ. Remember how he improvised most of his lines in Iron Man. It's just our luck that RDJ being RDJ is so incredibly close to Tony Stark.
Not to say RDJ isn't a phenomenal actor. He is. I just think Affleck's Batman is more of a departure from the actor than RDJ's Tony is.
We all knew this was going to make a ton of money opening weekend. Most those tickets were already sold before anyone knew if this movie was going to be good or bad.
Now that the film didnt live up to expectations, I dont see how any fan of the source material would want it to succeed. It just means more Snyder fuqing things up with his below average movies.
Pretty much Transformers franchise syndrome : Make tons of money with shitty movies.

I'm definitely looking forward to a solo Batman movie now though. I think with the cast they have it could be Winter Soldier levels good.

Terrible justification. He's Batman. He doesn't kill. It's a pretty big point to his character. Otherwise, he would have killed Joker and the rest of his rogues gallery by now.
Yeah, I guess he only kills henchmen. Joker is out of the equation, since it makes the studio money.
