Yeah, because of the marketing Lol.And don't tell me that Doomsday trailer was a good one after seeing the film. Would have been well cool to see Wonder Woman show up and save Batman if I hadn't already seen that in the trailer.
Justice League could make 200 OW, yes. And probably will.
No, I think this was way before any of the trailers came out. It doesn't matter. Do you think JL part one will do more or LESS?
It also beat TDKR AND TDK opening weekend, too.

Why critics don't matter

Hunger Games March opening weekend and 4th biggest world wide opening weekend ahead any super hero movie and behind Harry potter, jurassic world, and Star wars. It also over performed in all of Asia and set a company record in many countries.
The other records are pretty cool though. I'm more interested in seeing how it fairs next weekends with such mixed reviews.

Mostly everyone had already pre-bought their tickets prior to knowing if it was a good movie or not.
BvS having a big weekend opening was already known.
Has nothing to do of the movie is liked or not.
These coming weeks will tell if it has any legs.

I bet you it will have a big weekend next weekend as well. Most likely will still be #1.
It has no competition till The Jungle Book comes out.
So it will most likely be number 1 against indie films and chick flicks.
I just dont think it will be #1 because of monster numbers. More like no legit competition.
