Spoiler:
Supes already said straight off the Bat that he could have killed Bats by now. Dude was holding back as usual. Then, halfway through the fight, he got his powers back and wrecked house, only to stop again. He could have killed Bats there too.

Lol Bats fans always trying to spin it like Bats bested Supes

For anyone who is doubting that this has BAD WOM.

The downbeat notices could still take a toll. The business that “Dawn of Justice” does over the next few weeks when it has the field largely to itself will be telling. But there are some positive signs.

“Fandango tells us that the repeat business has already been significant,” said Goldstein, “so we think the word of mouth will be just fine.”

Dude that's like your opinion.

YouTube video

“The audience is the ultimate decider of these things and the marketplace makes its collective choice."

There were people getting up and leaving my theater before the movie was even done lol. The movie is being negatively received and scores similar to Green Lantern. It dropped to a 29% on RT today (GL is sitting at 26%). It wasn't good.

Its not like people here wanted it to fail (with the exception of Quan probably). The director just screwed it up epicly

“The reviews did not matter at all,” an exec told me this morning. “Every market is over-performing.” Despite a critical drubbing in the U.S. and many mixed notices overseas, fans turned out to see Affleck essay the Batsuit for the first time and Cavill return as the son of Jor-El. A lot of them also evidently wanted to catch a glimpse of Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman; she gets her own movie next summer. The Easter frame was a smart play by WB to stake out a few unfettered weeks. Says WB’s Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, “Our excellent date allows us to take advantage of the spring holidays with a five-week window until the next superhero film. Based on the strong word of mouth by fans we can look forward to a long and prosperous run.”

1B looks very likely at this point. With Horrid reviews and a supposedly mixed reviews for the previous movie, MOS, BVS is doing quite well. 👆

I'm thinking JK will make close to 200 M or more.

Make me director. I'll fix that movie.

A few of my friends are interested in seeing this next week, because of WOM on Facebook. I think close to 400 domestic will happen, which is a good number.

Inhuman posted a new pic of Suicide Squad:

Golgo wanted to be on the pic, too. But they wouldn't let him, he's not important enough... just a message board dweller, very low salary.

Im betting SS will have a bigger opening weekend than BVS.

I'll neeever go away. 😂

@ Arachnid1 The people in my theatre applauded the movie at the end.

The reviews don't represent the interests and enjoyment of the general audience. Nor do yours or mine personal experiences. The GA will show their interest and enjoyment of this movie (or lack of) through the box office in the coming weeks, and later through home entertainment sales.

Audience reaction was mixed, I.e. my dad hated it, but me and my younger brother loved it.

Just for context, my dad enjoyed A Haunted House

Personally I can't really understand hate for this movie. I get being underwhelmed. But there wasn't anything bad enough to warrant hate IMO.
