It's a better movie than Superman 3, Superman 4 and Superman Returns. Not NEARLY his worst performance.
However, since you mentioned the movies, BVS only had special effects. The story is as bad if not worse than Superman 4. Batman saved the movie. As least Superman III had the scene between Drunk Superman and Clark Kent.
The only scenes I would re-watch in BVS is the ones with Batman fighting in the warehouse. This Superman is the worse with it comes to flying, fighting, and intelligence. Absolutely the worse Clark Kent ever. Some curls and big glasses are suppose to keep his identity hidden. Horrible.

They should NOT had DS at all. That's the point.
They should have focused on Batman and superman. That's it.
And tease Wonder Woman. If they took the time to make this movie good instead of rushing then people world be more exited about the following movies in this universe.
As it stands now , because they rushed, it will actually hurt their following movies instead of helping them.

15 million is a great number and hold. Deadline just did an article stating that if it makes less than 900 million, say 875, the movie will still profit WB of 200 million or more. That should put to rest that this NEEDS to do a billion to be successful.

Yeah. Its like Lex took the time to create specific logos for these characters and even give names to the characters that dont even have names yet. Im surprised each box didnt also have the release dates for each characters upcoming movies as well.

WB have tried to do it their way (team movie first, solo movies later), and it's clearly costing them. Don't worry about "copying" Marvel. They've simply done it the right way.

Success is more than just "making profit". If this made profit at 750million would you call that a success? Just because it made profit and more than MOS?
Anything less than 1billion would be a big step down from the last Batman film, which was in 2D, and had no Superman to help boost it.

I think that's what held this movie back from being something much greater tbh.
Unfortunately like Golgo pointed out they're not changing anything. It's not too late to course correct. Swap the solo Flash movie with JL1. Or just skip JL1 altogether and give us the 2019 JL movie after the Flash and Aquaman solo movies. Could even give us a Solo Batman movie in the meantime, and could feel to the audience like Superman really was
