Justice League will be it's own entity. Marvel has had average movies before Avengers and Iron man 3, yet it didn't effect those two.
Even though I disliked IM3, by the time that movie came out. The MCU already had most people invested in their universe. The DC doesn't have people invested in the DCU like that. Especially since they haven't really produced any great movies yet. Arguable they have 2 stinkers so far. So your comparison makes no sense at all.

I'd disagree with that. People ARE invested in Ben's Batman. People have been praising Gal as Wonder Woman, even for her brief appearance in BVS. BVS increase from MOS was huge. Now of WW flops, then you can say nobody was invested, but the movie hasn't come out yet. It's still early, but the movie is holding up very well so far. Both domestic and world wide.

Are people invested in Batfleck? I certainly am not. I thought Ben did a great job but the characterization for Batman leaves a lot to be desired.

So you're saying you won't watch a solo Batman film, directed by him? Come on, you know most people will watch that. And from the numbers Variety gave, most people liked BVS. it's tracking around 70 M next weekend.

😕
I'm not saying that nor did I imply it. What I said was, as of now, I'm not invested in the character. And I doubt I'm the only one.

Ben's Batman is the most overrated thing I've come across. He was good for the fight scenes with crooks, that's it, which is not something Ben alone can take credit for, as special effects and choreography matter more.
I think it's DC fans trying to get behind anything not terrible at this point.
