Ok but the movie did not fail. Maybe it failed you, but you have never been a DC Fan. The movie will hit $1 billion world wide.

Batman Begins and the Dark knight are some of my favorite comic book movies.
I enjoyed Watchmen and V for Vendetta.

Just cause I point out stupid choices WB/DC make when it comes to some of their movies doesn't mean I hate DC movies. But IMO they are shooting themselves in the foot with their DCU so far.
If I see Marvel doing some retarded things, you damn right i will point them out.

At this point, I'm hoping this films bombs hardcore TBH. Snyder needs to go and this whole universe needs to go in a different direction. And I was really excited for it. 🙁

At this point, the worst case scenario is Snyder stays on board for JL. It's even preferable to reboot the whole damn thing and restart years from now that that IMO.

How come no one said anything about the bleak dream scenes in AOU when SW got into peoples heads? It was god awful those scenes. I still liked AOU over all but it had some bad spots.

Yes I liked watchmen as well.

Yah. Snyder is pretty good for visuals and fights (except the DD fight..ugh.) But he doesn't "GET" the DC characters. He doesn't do them "JUSTICE". We deserve better; not a rushed movie that's trying so hard to catch up instead of taking the time to make us care.

Overall this was mediocre movie, with a few standout scenes.

I thought it was amazing.

It was good. Nothing more.

It's not going to bomb. Deadline already projected this to do over 900. The only thing you can hope for is that WB delays this. Just too much potential and money involved.

Moviebob is way over the top in his hatred for it, but he's right on in terms of a alot of the problems of this movie.

Incredibly flawed movie.

I'd give it a B- or C+. I'm going again with a few friends next Sunday.

True, it's an incredibly flawed movie.

Pay attention to the non action scenes. The history and storylines. I thought it was incredibly deep.

On top of this, Superman is ****ing unreal in power now.

Took a nuke while weakened from knite gas twice and the spear.

And this was after he took Doomsday head on and kept him from killing Lex.

Imo, it was about as deep as a thimble.

Which Marvel movies were deep to you?

This thing is breaking records world wide. Biggest opening weekend in India, Brazil, and the UK.

According to The Numbers, BvS opened with $7,731,452 in Indonesia. That's HUGE! It's the biggest OW_ever. Yeah, I was wrong. Deadpool didn't steal its thunder at all, since it's_already beaten Deadpool's total with its OW. With practically no competition other than The Jungle Book for a whole month, this will likely beat Furious 7 ($16,768,758) to be the_highest grossing movie ever.

I was originally happy enough to think that they could just rein him in and put some control on him to just leave the visuals to him, but I doubt he'd take a backseat after being given so much power.

None of them are particularly deep, so they have something in common with BvS.

😂

What I find silly is the people that seriously think BvS is any different from any other big blockbuster popcorn flicks. That is exactly what BvS is.

Its fuqing outrageous to think BvS is some sort of deep and complex, art-house film for mature adults.
