What? I don't talk shit about a movie once it's run it's course, unless someone brings it up. You don't see me constantly bashing movies on the forums now do you? Both Marvel and DC have some real stinkers (Though, Marvel Studios has been pretty solid...)

To name a few terribad movies:

Catwoman
Green Lantern
Amazing Spider-man 2
Ghost Riders
Fantastic Four (all 4 movies)
Superman 3,4 and Returns
Batman 3,4
X-men Origins: Wolverine

I could go on and on...my point is, after a few months when everyone is done comparing Civil War to BvS, I probably won't even talk about either one.

The Batman v Superman fight was trash. I liked it initially but as soon as
Spoiler:
Kryptonite got brought in it just became boring.

However, I liked the DD fight.

Spoiler:
Though the SS aura was pretty stupid as was Superman's death.

When the fight got started, I kept thinking what happened just a scene earlier. I thought Clark was going to go to Bruce to talk to him, to get his help. I can understand Bruce not wanting to listen and execute his ambush, but Clark stopped trying to talk with about the urgent situation Luthor presented him with after one sentence (Anyone who's seen the film, knows what I mean.) Wouldn't that be more important? But instead it turns into obligatory fight scene, even when Clark has the upper hand on him.

Evidence the movie won't have good legs, that it's already dropping in attendance.

Synder/WB killed Superman, and now Zimmer. smh

... But really, this might be for the best. Much as I've enjoyed his scores before (some in certain movies more than others), his work's gotten too stale and repetitive sounding now that you pretty much know what to expect from it, no matter what superhero flick he's involved in. I hope of course at least some of his scores are still used in future films, in addition to another composer giving us the much needed freshness in music for the superhero genre.

Copying other's comments I see.

Snyder killed superman, batman and now Zimmer..........smh

😛

Very interesting. He would turn down such a large paycheck...but likely go back to scoring more Jerry Bruckheimer dreck like the Pirates films? 🙄

His score for Superman was very good, though it's hard to push aside the work of John Williams.

For those who feel strongly enough about it, here's the link to the Fire Zack Snyder petition. 😛

Hit the $500mill mark today. I guess that's taken a week seen as it was released last Thursday:

The link also talks about Fandango reporting a lot of repeat viewings.

NICE. I'm gonna sign for sure. Snyder needs to go; we need someone that understands Batman and Superman for who they are/supposed to be. I want to care about the characters. So far, BvS left me feeling "meh" at best about the 2 big dogs.....at least Wonder Woman left me feeling a little hopeful for her.

Some of my coworkers have seen it 3 times. It's still going to gross below 1b like I predicted. I'm going on Sunday one more time.

I'm going again tomorrow

I think it will hit over 1 billion. Still they need to get rid of Snyder ASAP if they want to reach their potential.

That's not news really. Nobody expects this film to have any legs.

Although it did have a good Monday and Tuesday, better than Iron Man 3's first Monday and Tuesday.

Old news. It was Easter weekend, but it's been holding up well during the week. We'll see how well it holds up on the weekend.

If it grosses under 1Bill that will mean bad legs.

Don't mean to pee on your cereal but the bad reviews is gonna doom this film in the long run.

They haven't doomed the Transformers films...

But yeah, I doubt this will have strong legs.

Just got back from seeing it. It wasnt the disaster that some are claiming, but there was definitely issues. I liked Ben as Batman, Cavill was fine as Supes, and WW was sweet except for Gadots accent when Diana. Eisenberg didnt do Luthor how I would have liked him done, but I went in pretending he wasnt Lex and it actually worked somewhat. He reminded me more of a Riddler or even Arcade from Marvel, but it is what it is. Doomsday looked retarded, but thats well known already. Also the movie was 30 minutes to long and jumped all over the place with scenes that did nothing to enhance the movie (also already known). The action scenes were good (warehouse part had that shaky camera stuff going on though), and especially liked the beginning how the fight with Zod equated to us mere humans. I didnt like the musical score at all, but thats a little nitpicking thing. I dont like this new Flash either, but that has nothing to do with the movie. I'll go into more detail about the flick later on.

Final score - 6.5/10

There was 8 people in the theater and that included my family of 4. I thought it would be a little busier than that.

Cool man, glad you liked it.

Thank you. 🙂

Those petitions dont ever work 🙁

Also didnt realize this was out already.

Might wanna remove that pic, dude. Wonder Woman has something in her hand.

If the movie gets enough heat, it wouldn't matter anyway. WB only cares about the bottom line, and if they don't like what Snyder is doing, they'll get rid of him.

Apparently Affleck finished the script he was working on for the solo Batman movie.
