No, he always got his powers from the sun. Hence him getting astronomically stronger when he went into space for the first time. He was never hit with a nuke in the first movie or damaged that much to need the sun all that much to power him back up.

Been reading a lot of Snyder interviews. This guy just doesn't get it.

I think it will be a smart move to get George Miller into this. He's a die hard DC fan. Keep the same cast, though.

We didn't jump on you because you liked the movie, we didn't jump on you at all. what we did was respond to your claims that this was the best superhero movie of all time and seeing as this is a thread dedicated to the movie. I don't see what the problem is.

I pray Synder gets dumped and Miller is hired to do JL, wouldn't even mind if Miller was hired as a co-writer as well. They really should just hire a great comic [DC] writer and have Miller give input.

Watched it again and my initial score was too high this movie deserves a 5/10

Is it just me or are the action scenes really slow and clunky, especially the main batman v superman fight. Maybe I've been spoiled by the incredible fight scenes in things like Daredevil but I'm unimpressed. I understand batman and superman are a mismatch in a fight, but even DC television did a better more fluid job with the arrow flash crossover fight.

Even the Doomsday fight at the end seems like it was just done in front of a huge green screen.

Im sure if I said "Melissa McCarthy is the most beautiful woman of all time", Im going to get some people responding to that statement. Even if I genuinely feel that way about her.

Yeah, it's a whacked statement and I fully disagree on multiple levels, as I gave BvS 4/10 brown starfishes, but I took it as massive overplayed hype after just seeing it.
