No. It's holds on Tuesday and Wednesday are horrendous. A -19% drop on Tuesday is downright terrible and then Wednesday drops a further 33% down from that...

Furious 7, another Easter movie, made a million more on it's first Wednesday despite the fact that it made 20 million less that first weekend. That's not a good sign for BvS's legs.

Well Variety, Deadline and Screen Rant all seem to disagree with your analysis.

But like I said we will know for sure after the weekend.

Omg Golgo that would be terrible. What world you living on? I'm living in a world where Deadpool just made well over 700mill on a 60mill budget and without China. And this is Batman + Superman + Wonder Woman.

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is going to sail past $ 900 mill. As will Deadpool 2. How embarrassing would that be for Snyder?

Embarrassing for Snyder? Apparently not much, since he's directing JL in a week or so. As much as we don't like that thought.

Then they are either wrong or predated the Tuesday numbers. Because a 19% drop on a tuesday is downright atrocious. Even if the drop was half of that it wouldn't have been great...

It still had the biggest Tuesday for March. It'll have disappointing legs, but it's still doing very strong OS.

Well embarrassing for WB. And not great news for Snyder's reputation either.

The only negative articles I'm reading in terms of box office drops are about that famous Friday to Sunday drop. Also a bit about a low Wednesday.

The weekend will tell, we can argue about it on Monday Lol.

Golgo, you're not fooling anyone. Everyone here knows you wanted this to be a critically acclaimed movie that was going to make Avengers money. Well, it's already NOT critically acclaimed and it's probably not going to make Avengers money. We also know you want your boy Snyder to stay on. Stop pretending like you want him gone.

Most fans of the characters don't want Snyder back though; at least not in the director's chair.

Space Cadet is right.

Snyder has to go or needs a babysitter.

It's definitely not making Avengers money, and is desperately trying to save grace by hitting the $1billion mark.

I personally see anything below $1.2Billion as a financial disappointment for this considering the names involved (or at least that should be the point where the studio begins to smile). But fighting off a 29% RT score makes that target almost impossible. $1Bill is the best realistic target at this point.

I was never a big fan of Snyder doing JL in the first place, but I wouldn't be so quick to blame Snyder for this movie's faults. I think a lot is down to WB rushing into this and JL.

The day all the fans will cheer is the day WB gives DC their own movie studio.

Thanks Joggernuts

Watching GMA they said that Affleck is working on a solo Batman script confirmed by the agency that represents him.

Batman was no doubt a bright spot in the movie.

I hope a lot of people are bombing Snyder's twitter saying that they hope the twist is that its not an April fool's joke.

It's not even a real tweet. Just look at the likes and shares, makes it pretty obvious that some "fan" made it.

Ah, didn't even look that closely.

Still, they should retweet the image to him, and say they share the sentiment.

If WB was smart they would fire him; unless they want their movies to forever be divisive and panned by critics (which will effect their bottom line).

When your own bro Kevin Smith isn't defending you, you know you ****ed up.

At this point if WB don't take him off as Director JL then they've gone insane.

Won't be announced yet though. Because that would be admitting this movie has failed right in the middle of it's box office run.

So chill out people, it will happen, just don't expect it to be announced right now, and expect delays to the April 11th start date for JL.

Smith talks outta his ass. He's says he likes it now after watching it a 2nd time:

I don't think Snyder should be allowed to direct Superman or films containing Superman, but if they wanted to give him other properties like, say, The Spectre, Orion, or Black Adam, I wouldn't have a problem with it because his tone and imagery would fit a character like them. The mythos he's built for Superman, aside from the visuals and depiction of Krypton and their technology, has been a disappointment. Superman deserves better.

Again, it's less about tone and more about getting the characters. He did a good enough job with Watchmen though....so I'm still not sure how he screwed the pooch so bad in BvS.
