Smith talks outta his ass. He's says he likes it now after watching it a 2nd time:

Kevin Smith is a sorta DC insider. I bet Warners & DC had words with him, saying this film needs support with all the vicious criticism out there. And so he comes out and does some spin. 🙄

Hope that wasn't the case; he should be entitled to his opinion. It's not like he's a direct employee of DC Entertainment like Geoff Johns (Geoff, what's your opinion of Green Lantern? - "I thought it was awesome!"😉 😛

Speaking of repeats... this film apparently has exceptionally high repeat viewings, wondering if a lot of people left the theater thinking something like "it couldn't have been that bad, I must have missed something that ties it all together" and suckered themselves into watching it a second time

Yeah I saw that lol.
I think he voiced his disappointment with BvS on 2 separate videos before this damage control story was recently released.

71 to 73% actually liked it, so it's not that surprising.

Source puts_#BatmanvSuperman_on course for $17-18M domestic FRI. 2nd wknd would fall about 64% from#Easter_wknd debut to $59M.

I'd say its tied with Spiderman 2, but for the most part I agree. Pretty sure most would

Spiderman 2 is my favorite also. I thought I was the only one.

To be fair, if Geoff Johns said anything else, he would have been crucified.

I think I hated this movie so much because it had so much potential.

I thought you guys had lowered my expectations enough, but I was wrong.

I'm honestly kinda butthurt right now.

We walked out of the theater right ahead of a guy with a Superman shirt on and my son said to me 'You were right dad. It wasn't that good'. I swore I saw tears on that guys face.

I bet it wasn't the only time that Superman fan had something hot and wet on his face.

Do you think this can hit 400 million?

If we don't hear anything in a few days, then it's pretty much Snyder.

Nope. It'd be a blow to the box office if WB admits at this early stage that the Director is being fired because he didn't do well enough with this film.

If come April 11th JL hasn't started shooting then we'll know some changes are happening.

As a fan of comic films and Batman being my favorite superhero, I'm highly annoyed that Synder is doing JL part 1 & 2.

I want quality DC based films, not another less than average (4/10) shitshow that he gave us with BvS. So yeah, for once I'm mad.

But do you think people's issues with this film are down to Snyder or down to WB?

I still say the best move WB could do is give DC their own movie studio. Imagine how hard we'd all be cheering if that happened?
