Yeah, not sure. This film was a mess. If you've seen the trailer you've seen the movie. You could pretty much tell how it played out from the trailer. Snyder has gotten worse and worse as a director. He has these moments of visual excellence (which in this film were very, very few and far between), but most of it was just bland and bad cinematography... the oh-so dreaded shaky cam. The best part of this movie was the part with Batman just wearing the coat/mask and that long shot without a cut taking out all those henchmen and then those flying fu#kers came in and abducted him. I think it was just a dream sequence or something. That shit was badass, the only part where I was truly enjoying myself. The rest of the film is crap. And Snyder is doing the Justice League movies?? God help us all.. *facepalm*

Having Wonder Woman showing up without any background on her is stupid. Marvel doesn't like solo films for women, lol, but I'm sure they would have at least recognized the importance of such a character needing a proper introduction before this film. DC blew it there. Everything in this movie just felt very awkward and forced.

And OH MY GAWD, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor was HORRENDOUS. The trailer gave that away, obviously. Dear god, that has got to be some of the worse casting ever. That might even be worse than Topher Grace as Eddie Brock/Venom. And let's face it, a movie like this is only as good as its villain.

That's the only property that they get right. No one is disputing Batman's box office supremacy. At this point though, Marvel is beating every other DC property with their B and C list characters. Watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2 demolish Batman v Superman's number next year. A bunch of C and D listers are going to blow out a DC event movie starring DC's two top icons.

I gotta agree with you... 👆

I was very very pumped for this movie as the original Dark Knight Returns is one of my favorite all-time comics...

As I watched this mess (I had a bad feeling when Snyder had young Bruce floating like Jesus or some crap when being surrounded by the bats...I was like "wtf!????"😉, my heart dropped further and further until I felt it squishing against my feet...

Snyders work on this movie was very sloppy; the Batman vs Superman fight could have been done so much better...

The animated DKR movie's depiction of the Batman vs Superman showdown blows the one in this movie away...

Snyder should never be allowed to come near a comicbook movie for the rest of his life...

Shame on you Snyder; you ruined what had the potential to be one of the greatest comicbook movies ever created...

DC hasn't even started yet. Yes, they did GL, but if Suicide Squad is any indication, it's going to make BANK. It'll probably take August record from Guardians of the Galaxy.

^ In that case, Lets hope the quality of the film matches it too.

So much optimism, wasn't BvS going to make a billion dollars easily? It can't even reach $900 million. Suicide Squad isn't for everyone. You think it's going to be a movie families are going to take their kids to? Suicide Squad isn't touching Guardians of the Galaxy because Captain America Winter Soldier was an amazing movie and GOTG beat it. It beating GOTG record? Good luck with that because BvS turned off a lot of moviegoers to DC movies.

Well, shit, WWK. Didn't a certain movie called Deadpool (Rated R) easily make 700 plus million WITHOUT a China opening and easily not kid friendly? Deadpool easily beat most Marvel movies not named Avengers and Iron Man 3, too. And Deadpool isn't for everyone.

At this point I'd say they're not really much more famous than Wolverine & the X-Men.

Either way the DCEU is still something new, and needs to build up its own goodwill. But the negativity its got so far won't help.

Also It's a shame WB is in a place where they need SS to be a hit. SS should be one of those risks where it doesn't matter if it doesn't work.

Yeah, because SS doesn't have humor and great marketing already.

What great marketing?.......its not even on the same level as Deadpool.

Yeah nothing matches Deadpool's marketing.

What SS does bring though is a budget like 3 to 4 times the size of Deadpool's, so it will have to gross something like 200mill domestic and 500mill worldwide just to break even. Plus it has to fight off the negativity of BvS.
