Quan vs. Scenario (Stips, trash talk, honor, etc.)

Started by The Scenario11 pages

No objections here.

I'll do my best to post as much information as I can so everyone can familiarize themselves with Ganondorf. If you ever need anything explained or clarified, please feel free to ask me in either this thread or PMs. As fair warning, I will be making heavy use of YouTube videos and .gifs (all linked) with a few screenshots. Ganondorf's a video game character, so the still imagines will mostly be dialogue and statements. I hope everyone is okay with that?

I can be a judge. I've never watched True Blood or played Zelda (except for one time when I rented Majora's Mask for three days), so I don't have any real bias toward either character.

Happy to have you. Welcome aboard the trainwreck.

I was asked to be a judge, and I'm willing, so it's up to you guys to decide if you're interested. shrug

And a heart welcome to you, as well. Thanks fr participating.

I didn't know who Russell Edgington was until I asked Quan. If you need a judge I'll help.

I'm not sure how these things work. First, what is battlezone? Secondly, how is it judged?

When the hell is Quan going to post?

Also, don't direct any questions to Scenario or myself here as that alters the debate. You can comment overall in a general sense but when posters make specific points that alters the battlezones arguments in the debate itself.

Hm? I'm sorry, is clarifying points not allowed? I thought it would the judges or other posters to understand our points if they could question them outside of the debate. If anything it would lead to points being better presented and more understandable to anyone not familiar with the characters.

EDIT: Also, what is the general opinion on copying things directly from a wiki?

I noticed a few similarities.

To highlight the essentials as opposed to just posting a link and it being lost amidst the mountain of information. It's out job to illuminate our points but I don't mind it much but another poster did once bring up that it alters the debate which I agree with. No biggie either way.

Is there a certain layout to BZ's, or is it basically a normal vs thread but with only two competitors?

Normal thread usually with a start and end time and judges is all. Posters decide on stips beforehand and argue within those parameters. Posters can debate in any manner they deem fit.

Ahh cool cool.

So, did Quan punk out?

He has posted in the actual battlezone thread, but he's still refusing to pick or approve any judges.

You should know me better than that by now, lizard.

Let me make this perfectly clear. Judges of the names already tossed in the hate will be selected upon the completion of our battlezone. If you or others continue to cry I will purposely stall to show you the difference. I see things through so drop it.

I don't understand why you insist on stalling this. What is the point? Why later and not now? Several kind people have volunteered, and you are keeping them in the dark about whether or not they even need to show up here. Right now, you are wasting the time of everyone you don't plan to choose by refusing to let them know that they shouldn't bother.

Frankly it seems very insulting to take someone willing to give their time to this frivolous endeavor, and then keep them waiting.
