I was actually curious about both cause I've only saw the remake and it looked as if nothing even phased the thing, although I hear the original has ridiculous feats as well, I hear some say its even more impressive than the one from the remake despite not being as tall :0.

I made a Versus thread in the movie area. Let me see if I can find it to help demonstrate.

Here it is. Man, I don't know what I was thinking with some of my earlier threads. 😆

The real one in his peak, the cartoon one probably would be (higher) mid too, though it's been a long time since I watched it. mmm

JCA Jackie is probably Low Meta, High Meta with several Talismans :T

Does anyone think that this sorting thread needs to be tagged to the top of the forum like the tier list?

I don't think so. There's enough traffic to it that it won't drop. Maybe later as more characters are sorted we can consider it.

It wouldn't hurt anything, but that's up to all of you. It seems a sensible idea though; to have pair threads preserved.

How do we have people like Ganondorf, Kerrigan and Magnus the Red in the same tier?

The tier list is incomplete with many characters needing to be sorted.

Plutonian shouldn't even be on the tier list, let alone in Mid Herald.

Not only is he a comic character (which should exclude him), but the guy tanks attacks with each one containing all the energy in a star, withstands his own weight when it is increased to Solar System levels, is FTL (outraced Radio Waves) with pico-second level reflexes, and can submerge the island of Singapore into the ocean by pushing it. He has these powers not through physical means, but psionics.

Which is why he says FU to the Heisenberg Uncertainty principle in his universe.

If he is to be kept on the list, he needs to be bumped up to High Herald, or Trans.

I'll probably remove him and Ultraman, lol. Phanteros suggested them and I was like 'eh'.

Isn't Ultraman like a giant like Godzilla?

I have been watching Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood and was wondering where characters like the homunculus would rank in. (Father, envy, gluttony, wraith, greed, pride, sloth and lust)

Changing my votes concerning Sengoku Basara characters.
Hideyoshi Toyotomi to Low Herald. His destructive capacity is just crazy and his durability is not bad either.
Yukimura and Date to mid meta.
Kojuro to low meta.

It seems that no one is on Hideyoshi's level of sheer manliness. He can block their attacks with his face.

How is Kojuro low meta when his kicks generate enough air current to send men and their horses flying? Yukimura not only stopped a charging tank with his strength alone but he trades blows with Oyakata, who is easily above 100 tons and uses enough strength that would normally kill another man. During a match against Yukimura, Kojuro won, disarmed one of his spears and then reacts quickly enough to block a punch by Yukimura without budging or wincing, granted it was Yukimura's injured hand.

I may be under-estimating Kojuro. mmm I'm admittedly judging him from the first 7 episodes of Season 2, netflix doesn't get season 1 for some reason.

Low meta does indeed sound wrong for him. To mid meta with my vote. mmm

How do you field about low herald hideyoshi?

Hideyoshi's biggest setback is his durability.

Spoiler:
He literally gets oneshotted at the end.

Episode 7 of season 1 or two?

Date seems fine where he's at to me for his speed, strength and durability. As I said he doesn't have many direct ones, but he took 3 separate beatings from Hideyoshi, stamina is out the wazoo, his fights with Yukimura are insane and he's able to trade blows with him and weapon deadlock with him. Masamune also fought 16 copies of himself thanks to Sasuke.

Most of the characters durability seems to fluctuate. It seems to depend entirely on what they're being attacked with. Seems to follow the rule of ki can repel and withstand ki that I've noticed in some mangas. Uncertain of this point yet.

Season 2, I have no access to season 1.

I'll have to wait on seeing more of Date's speed. Most characters can plainly move fast enough that horses are a convenience, and fight at speeds where 'several' swings are being made and/or parried per second. Date's, and most characters actually, greatest aspect seems to be his destructive power and strength.

Also, I hear Date was shot at some point, is there context to that? Magic bullets, super awesome ki attack? I assume it was season 1 since Oda is noted to have used guns in combat and

Spoiler:
is dead now.

Season 1 battle of Nagashino he fights Nagamasa Azai, they duel, Masamune gets the advantage. Nobunaga orders his men to fire on his ally (nagamasa) to kill Date and his men. Date gets hit by a stray bullet, but walks it off, gets on his horse and they go back to Oshu, later on during their ride back he passes out from blood loss and falls off.

YouTube video

Hm, thanks. mmm Also, this anime won me over. Miyamoto Musashi is a complete cheating bastard and clownshoe. haermm

Yeah it kept me entertained for a long time. Another one of my favorite characters was Keiji Maeda. Theoretically very powerful and possibly on par with Hideyoshi but he's much of a pacifist in the shows and rarely fights seriously. He mainly fights people to stop them from fighting. In the games he was ridiculously powerful and able to string 1000 hit plus combos. He's also Hideyoshi's friend, or he was his friend until Hideyoshi basically cut all ties with him.

What happened in the last episode you watched?

Yukimura sparred with Musashi and got rocks thrown at him, sand kicked in his eyes, fell into a pitfall trap, and then was sprung into the are by a modified snare within the trap. Trapception.

Also Date and Chosokabe are arguing because egomaniacs.

I think Hideyoshi is my favourite character so far.

I can see why you would vote Kojuro for low meta then judging by the part you're at. Basically lost that fight while focusing on protecting those villagers. Something he did and season one and him being unleashed later in season two is what made him equal to the others personally for me.

My favorite villain was Matsunaga Hisahide and then Hideyoshi, Nobunaga was horrible. Season one is viewable on FUNimation's youtube and Hulu, the movie is also on Hulu although the movie wasn't all that to me.
