Hulk has rarely gone all-out against Thing. Prime only ever arguably held back once in his post-Crisis career, per his words: when he ambushed Conner in Smallville. Thing is, Conner was supposedly holding back as well. So, not analogous to the Hulk-Thing feud at all.

Why are you making a big deal about "holding back" when in your own words you said Prime held back when he wrecked Superboy + Krypto? That makes the feat even more majestic. I'm gonna need confirmation that Conner held back. Even if you do manage to find that confirmation, your point is moot because the second time when Conner came back, he was out for blood, had help from Wondergirl, and still got wrecked yet again.
