Well the Guardian Amp was him basically soaking up the released energies of that dying Guardian right? Not even in the same league. Guardian's are pathetic compared to Odin, have been for a while. Ganthet was the only one worth a damn.

But power ups don't always scale how we expect them to in comics. The powered up Prime would probably beat up the Guardians.

I should have phrased the question better.

Given Prime's abilities and invulnerability to magic coupled with the stipulations, this IS a fight. When you add the Amp it places it on even ground IMO.

Naija's comments were dismissive of Prime's power in relation to the aforementioned issues and I wanted to find out why.

Prime and the Titans had a few fight brief fights here and there across issues before that big beat down. Tried to get all of them.

Either way, Prime was definitely starting to suffer from villain decay. He was like a few years away from getting beat up by Wonder Girl/Superboy solo. Luckily with the reboot, if he does manage to come back, he'll have a clean slate. Anyways, he has no business even being in the same room as Odin.

Oh yeah. Add Red Star as another dude who's not been cut through by Prime's heat vision. Sorry Superman, need to step up your energy durability. 😛

Well on his own, he lasted like two pages? And it consisted of a nonstop beatdown.

I think the most embarrassing part is Wonder Girl being competitive with him and actually holding her own (The fight went off-panel for some time). I like him as someone who crushes any Earth based hero besides Superman who can survive for some time on his own. Everyone else needs to run or their f*cked. Is Wonder Girl even as strong as Colossus? I think that was stupid.

Pretty clear that he was being turned into a Titans villain and naturally that means he shouldn't be fighting the big dogs. We should be thankful he wasn't used again. He'd probably get punked by Wonder Woman or something equally dumb.

Who wrote that? Was it Johns?

Kind of funny that once they're done with him, they throw him to the wolves. The writers must have hated him as much as the fans did.

Mordru at his best could pretty powerful. At one it was said he had enough power in him to move Galaxies.

However, key word there is at his best.
