I don't have an opinion in this but it's not like Cap hasn't faced oponents with flight and energy beams in the past

How would he take a flying Devil Jin out without PIS in a featureless envivorment? He can try to throw the shield sure but I figure losing the only defense against the eye beemz is a highly dangerous move, not to mention one that Jin will expect.

The shield has worked in the past, I don't see why it won't now.
Again I don't say Cap will win but if Jin beats him it's not because he's flight and throws stuff from his head

Its because of the combination of all the different powers he has, skill of his own(though Cap is obviously more skilled) and raw power.

When did Hwoarang stalemate jin? I was under the impression Jin never bothered to take him seriously since t3 and still won.

And as for the fight, this is a fight Cap will be hardpressed to win. Mishimas have crazy levels of speed, durability and strength. Jin in particular trumps his granfather who has feats like biting bullets shot at him, surviving the honmaru explosion, smashing jacks like nothing, etc.

Sure Cap has fought similarly strong characters in marvel but he hasnt fought anyone with martial art feats to go along with stats like tekken characters do. Not saying it is impossible but I dont like steve's chances.

Devil Jin is not exactly your average guy.. and flight and range are HUGE advantages when used by a skilled person. If the shield throw is blocked or misses Cap is in for some serious hurt.

k... still it's not a comic book character with feats I can debate.
But he is supposed to be one of the most skilled characters in his universe + he got superhuman powers. I suppose he makes a strong case

Jin only knows two styles of MA,

Kazama style MA he learned from his mother as a child.
&
Mishima Karate he has yet to master.

Also Jin can't just turn devil at ease, that I know of. Either he has to be under serious duress or around other Devil Gene users.

Also I've never seen Devil Jin sustain the Devil form for any great period of time, or use multiple powers at the same time.

Jin is a low end pre lord rand upgrade Iron Fist.

He still kicks cap's ass.
