Just saw the trailer for this after being away for 5 or so weeks. Looks not too bad, I am intrigued on how it ties in with the first movie.

I read about this in the Empire magazine sometime last year and now glad its on its way to our screen.s

I'm not liking, how in the trailers, Kyle Reese just seems to be a complete worthless *****...I know it's just trailers and all that but...it just rubs me the wrong way.

ALSO WTF did they do to John?...I'm...so not really liking this at all judging from the trailers, i'll probably still go see it but...da hell..and Kyle isn't his dad anymore?...<<...

Actually, I just watched the new trailer and I have to admit that it makes the movie look a lot better than the first trailer. They're definitely trying to make it more like T2. I'm a little skeptical of the director, though. He's done a lot of TV and Thor: The Dark World apparently. I actually liked Thor 2, personally, but I still wouldn't consider him a completely established director.

I mean, I don't mind the setting and what goes on...it's just...Kyle doesn't seem to be that bondafide, badass Resistance fighter we saw in T1.

Those are really my only gripes, BUT I'm willing to give it a chance and hopefully the movie will look better for Kyle at least. John just...I'm not really on board with it.

The whole thing with John becoming a Terminator sounds like they got that idea from the Dark Horse story 'Terminator Salvation: The Final Battle' before they even finished it.
