Don't need RT to tell me its gonna be good.

Funny reading some reviews. Most are angry at the fact edgar wright didnt direct it.
Guy has a crazy cult following. Figures they would hate on this as a show of support to him.

He never cared for RT, when its convenient he does lol

Not everyone is raving about it like Avengers. 🙁

When are you guys going to get that Critics have their own politics going on.

In this case some are hating on it because of the Edgar Wright thing.

Stupid, imo. I'm fairly hyped for this, so I'll see it either way.

Where are you getting this? Critics' prime directive is too remain unbiased by outside variables and judge a film only on it's quality. Also, if anything the politics should favor Antman. Disney/Marvel is huge and appeasement happens sometimes.

That might be their "directive" but do you really believe they're not biased, and don't have their own politics going on?

That's true. But they themselves are complaining about the Edgar Wright thing as part of their criticisms for this movie. So that was obviously a Preconceived Judgement they had before going in.

The reviews I've read state that a lot of the finished product has Edgar Wright written all over it, but poor imitations because it wasn't Edgar Wright executing them.

Also the fact that most of the first wave of reviewers were from the UK

Hilarious and highly stupid at the same time.

Basically its "The Edgar Wright defense force". The movie is automatically bad regardless of quality the moment Wright was replaced.

Have you guys seen the movie?

No, but Ill give it a shot.
If you look at my old posts I have said im looking forward to this but im not super hyped. Hope its decent. We will see.
My opinion will not be based on who or who didn't direct this though.

You don't find it at all suspect that you're discrediting reviewers who have seen a movie that you have not?

Dont get me wrong this movie could be below average.
I usually read a couple reviews and take what they say into consideration. In this case though, there seems to be an agenda. So i have my doubts these reviews are 100% acurate.

Especially when i dislike "pompous , full of themselves hipster reviewers" that love to throw around trending buzz words. These types are usually raving fans of indie, niche directors like Wright.

People always do this when a movie doesn't get glowing reviews. They claim the reviewers have some secret agenda rather than believe that the reviewer simply didn't think the film was good. It's silly really.
