Prime fled from them while flying and owning some of them. The next time they met Prime was ko'd by a very weak team.
Monarch did not try to rip open Prime so his feat has no bearing on Void doing so. The point is Superboy has the power necessary to scar him for life which doesn't bode well for your case.
