It doesn't matter what Superboy-Prime is afraid of ... once a infitendril touches him, he will be lying on the floor and:

- see his past, where everyone he knew and loved died in front of his eyes and how he had to see it over and over and over again...
- see his present, where everyone views him as the ultimate bad guy and wants to stop him, while he himself is randomly killing heroes left and right and can't have the one thing he wants the most in the world: his girlfriend,
- see his future, where he will kill even more people, be even more hated - probably end up killing his girlfriend again and will have to see all of their deaths over and over again in an endless cycle.

Tell me how Prime won't end up lying on the ground with a severe mental breakdown after being faced with that.
And there is no telepathic resistance in the world that will protect you from that, because now we're talking about empathy ... Martian Manhunter has great telepathic resistances, but when Despero mind-raped him with empathy and showed him the crap MM had to go through on Mars you could see Martian Manhunter lying on the ground and drooling like a vegetative, green cauliflower.

All he ****ing did was to relive his memories. That includes the death of his loves ones and his ****ing Universe. That was one of the biggest reason Alex got him on his side so easily.

Prime is not ****ing MM, Prime's will power surpass MM by ****ing miles.
