Easy, because if he was full Atlantean, he would be knocked out. You are reading into something that isn't there. He didn't say "My human side helped me." There is no human "side", he's a mutate, something you just claimed you understood.

Oh and since anyone was wondering this is what Doom did for Attuma, "I have leveled the playing field by having you surgically altered during your resurrection...giving you Namor's strength, flight, the ability to breathe on land"......aaaaand that's it. He never demonstrated anything in the issue either, nor did he gain ALL of Namor's abilities as was said many time here.

And I haven't seen Aquaman do anything with his telepathy that would matter in this matchup unless you're thinking of classic Aquaman.

Oh sure, but again he's still a big unknown as even people far weaker then Hulk have put him on his ass. I have a feeling the Doom upgrade will be forgotten, especially his ability to fly. We shall see. That's why earlier I asked if he appeared after Fear Itself (Worthy Attuma) to see if the Doom upgrade stuck...hard to say or even what level he is at.
