90 minutes from a friend
I was give the 90 minutes in heaven, on c/d by a friend who badly wants me to understand how indisputable his belief in God is. I listened because I respect my friend. But Don Pipers story did nothing to convince me that my freind had any solid ground on which to balance his faith. I made me question the intelligence of the people who are willing to use this mans "story " as proof of the existence of God (the Christian one) or heaven. When you are dead you are dead dead. . .and that is it. I don't see nor can I find any evidence that he was truly dead. Very near death . . . Absolutely, but as far as I have been able to find. . . No one else has made the statement that he was. Don says that the paramedics said he was dead. . . . What do the actual paramedics have to say??? Anyone hear from them? Recently the medical society has come to question where the line gets drawn for actual death.There are documented reports of "dead" people waking up in morgues, having been pronounced dead by people who have a much higher level of expertise than that of a paramedic, not to mention a higher level of sophisticated technology available then that of a paramedic. Where are those interviews? My next question was what if you believe in Buddha? . . . . . Guess what?! If you have a NDE you are going to see a Buddhist heaven and the gods that go with it ! WOW! The samething happens to Native Americans, they tend to see their ancestors and various gods in animal form. Hmmmmm could it all be subjective? Or are all the people who believe in a different god or gods wrong? No one should base their faith on the say so of another human being. Your faith is between you and the God/s you believe in, and should never be judged by something as flawed as ourselves.

@lizzieh1042 I recommend breaking your post into paragraphs to make it easier to read. Also, a little editing would help on your part, but over all, I think you are right on the money.
