Batman vs. Iron Man

holding back implies consciously limiting yourself

Tony would not be "holding back" if he is unconsciously underestimating Bruce, as is his character, and therefore not preparing to his fullest extent

Holding back means not giving it everything you have, thus if Iron-man isn't fully prepping he is infact holding back.

Ok, so you want me to add EVERYTHING on that list as something Ironman would likely use-not holding back- (still in character) against a street leveler?

And that's all you would change?

Per forum rules, characters are fighting to the best of their ability, Tony not using over half of his weapons isn't fighting to the best of his ability.

Is that a yes?

P.S. Fighting to the best of their ability yet still in character.

Fighting to the best of their ability is forum standard, the not holding back stip covers the rest.

Please extensively define what you mean by "the rest".

Are you saying now that Tony will not fight in character?

And what would you add to your side of the argument that I didn't cover in my lengthy post earlier?

The not holding back covers the "he wont use this against a fellow hero etc' arguments.

Where did I say anything about Tony not using a weapon due to Batman being a HERO?!

Did you miss the "etc" part?

So you state something I didn't say and then cover what I did with "etc"?

I think I'm starting to understand why we are having communication issues, lol.

Batman.

Ok then, PREPPING FULLY, what does Tony bring? What does he defend against specifically? If you think he'd have more within a weeks prep time, what would he have?

IYO?

This is why I said: remove anything that is incorrect, make any changes, etc.

What does he bring? Everything. What does he defend against? Everything.

He needs 1 day of prep to equal 7 days of Batmans prep to make it even.

Everything constitutes as???

Would you change what I listed as Tony's probable plan? If so, to what?

Batman's only hope remains in somehow hacking or uploading a virus into Stark's armor, which just would NOT happen to a prepped IM, so...Batman isn't left with too many options of winning. At the end of it all, he's gotta somehow get past the armor, which is the last and strongest line of defense Tony has.

But Batman has a plan and Tony will underestimate him, even though that goes against the stips in the OP.

Will it be possible for Batman to damage IM armor with weapons?

If it's a powerful enough weapon, sure.

This isn't true. Batman has other options (which I will be more than happy to talk about once the Ironman camp tells me what other prep he'd bring)

How much more info on Iron-man do you need? you know he has access to mutliple armors, stealth and nano tech, force-fields, AI's and various hightech ranged and AOE weapons.

I'll take that as you are satisfied with my summary. 👆

Now I'm just going to wait a bit and give others a chance to respond.

I'm asking for proof of what you're arguing for. Accordingly:

Show us Batman's feats with Nth metal. Show us Batman's feats with nano tech. Show us Batman's feats with EMPs. Show us Batman's best feats with frequency jammers. Show us Batman's best traps.

The fellow is simply clueless, he doesn't understand the concepts of evidence, backing up assertions, or any form of argumentationt all....smh.
