It was the real Hulk but that scan has context.

Do you have the rest of the scans that follow that particular scan, because i really thought that Samson was fighting a robot in that scene and thought that he was fighting the real Hulk? besides, in that very same arc we see the Hulk beating the hell out of Herc, Namor, Wonder Man, Iron Man, and Samson.

Yeah, Hulk took on a team of Avengers that has never been stacked that much again. That was an insane ft for the character. Hulk wasn't at 100% when Doc did that...that's why he was able to pull off that ft. It wasn't a robot though.

There's the full fight. It was meant to show that just because someones durability remains the same, doesn't mean they can handle punches as well as they would if they were ready for them in combat. As the Hulk vs Samson fight demonstrated by having Hulk get laid out by shots from someone he was previously shrugging off. Of course, Carver ignored it 👆

Doesn't change it though, and it takes care of that argument of "Well uh uh did Hercules lower his durability or something? Lol!"
