Where?
When Ventress bombarded him with shit and gave him trouble on Yavin 4? Or when Ventress force choked him on her flagship? Or when Kenobi matched his force push on Mustafar?
Woah woah woah just found this, is this canon? And what was the outcome?

Found it!
Holy shit 6:33 Skywalker force pushes Dooku and puts him on his ass.
The Force push exploded, like the explosion of Yoda's Repel and Sidious' Lightning in that same film.
Anakin was unquestionably far more powerful than Obi-wan. Why did he lose? He left himself open when he made the leap and could not defend himself, a mistake he would not make as a Sith Lord later on.

I am in no way arguing that Anakin>Kenobi. I will argue that AOTC Anakin is stronger than ROTS Kenobi.

I don't understand this.
Basically, the novel states that Palpatine is screaming in pain. There is absolutely no proof to your claim that "he was just toying with him." The scene clearly indicates that it hurt him.
Point still stands. Marek was rewarded with strength that made his previous effort look like toys yet died while Sidious was unharmed. [/B][/QUOTE]
Again, no one is claiming that Galen would beat Palpatine. All we're saying is that he was able to hurt him a little. Is that really so hard to accept?

Why are we arguing about Starkiller, btw?Again, why is the relationship between the Emperor and Starkiller's power level relevant here?
Because threads sometimes go off on tangents.

In the game he says ''it's a trick! he's stronger than you think'' or something like that.
That's before their final fight, when Marek seemingly has Palpatine beaten.

And again, it was from Marek's PoV.
So you believe Marek's POV when he's saying the Emperor is too powerful to be beat, but you decide not to believe his POV when he hurts the Emperor?
Kind of picking and choosing what you like there.

As confirmed by The Complete Star Wars Encyclopedia, he was no match for Palpatine.
Well he obviously was no match with his Force Defenses down. That description is talking about the result of their final fight.

"Its a trick, he's stronger than you know and he deserves to die for what he did to me."
He does not have Palpatine beat, Emperor never screams in the game which is the primary source material.

Marek never hurts the Emperor in the primary source material. Their battles are completely different in the two source materials.

He's no match for him in any way.

Ehm.
Not really comparable. The first is Marek's own confession regarding his inferiority. The second is his view on Palpatine's standing in the battle.
The first is believable because he is explaning how he is feeling, while the second is him explaining how Palpatine is feeling; Marek is not pivy of Palpatine's thoughts and emotions.

He didn't admit his inferiority in the first. He just said his apparent defeat was "a trick." But after all that he did still think he could kill him.

No he didn't. That's why he sacrificed himself, lol.
Quit your Lol's and try to understand.
He thought he could kill Sidious when he was on the floor, which is why he said "It's a trick," as in it's best to kill him now because "he's more powerful than you think."
And he sacrificed himself by putting his Force defenses down while battling frigging Sidious just so he could save the rebels.
So Fact is- Sidious never beat him in a fair fight.

Power you can't actually think Marek has a chance in hell against Sidious.
A chance in hell? Of course he does. This isn't Darth Maul or Savage Opress. Marek vs Sidious's final battle was an epic one.
But is he actually Sidious's equal? Well I never claimed that he was.

Sidious held back the entire time, didn't even use his lightsaber, and still won. Give Sidious his blade and he'll take Marek to the curb as you saw in the alternate ending to TFU.
