I am happy we are getting bald Xavier, but something else with the casting bugged me. We are getting both Scott and Alex, yet how the hell are they still using Lucas Till? X-Men: Apocalypse is set about 20 years after First Class. Lucas Till is like 24 or something, and Tye Sheridan, who is playing young Scott, is 18. And based on the time line, Alex is decades older than Scott. This looks like it's going to be a bit of a mess with that bit of casting.

First Class is set around the early 60s, with the Cuban Missile Crisis. Apocalypse is supposedly set in the 80s. Then again, the X-men films have a wacked out timeline that makes absolutely no sense if you stop to think about it for a minute.
Edit: Double checked on news sources. First Class is set 1962 and Apocalypse will be set in 1983. So 21 years difference.

But in the original timeline scott was around then considering he is a senior in high school during the seventies. But the never say what alex age is.
Well, currently, Scott is going to be a teenager in 1983, yet Alex was at least in his late teens by 1962. So Alex would technically be old enough to be Scott's father in the movie time line (and they could easily say he knocked up some girl before going to Vietnam, so the timing would mostly line up as well). Problem is that Lucas Till looks like he still belongs in high school himself, and sure as shit doesn't look like someone approaching 40. Should have recast him IMO. Till never impressed me to begin with. But guess that is going to happen when you try to cover 21 years of story time in 5 real years.

I agree they should have have recast Lucas Till with someone much older.
If they do nothing to make him look at least 10 years older, then that will be stupid.
On the other hand, hows Angel in this at about the same age he was in X3?
So they really don't seem to give a crud about ages in this. And certainly not about consistency.
