Oh, I'm sorry; do I need to break it down in simpler terms for you?

Here ya go:

In MY OPINION, X-men DoFP was overrated. There, how's that? Or would you just prefer I say I didn't feel it was as good as it's reviews showed? How would YOU like ME to say how I feel about that movie? I wouldn't want to upset your delicate sensibilities.

This is your opinion. I feel that X-men have been hit and miss...not great. Some of their films have been good. DoFP was overrated imo. It was good, but not as good as it's made out to be. Personally I'm happy overall with the X-men franchise and it's the ONLY Marvel property I'm not clamoring to get back under the MCU banner because of that.

Batman has been hit and miss as well. I liked the Nolan films in the order they released. I liked Begins the best, TDK second and didn't care for the third that much. And let's not talk about the pre-boot Batman movies. Past movies have NOTHING to do with future movies. The reasons I'm not excited for X-men Apocalypse and BvS are legitimate concerns based on trailers.

Omg you went on a rant over this as well?

My opinion? Hmm. Well to quote you from the Force Awakens thread "YOU'RE IN THE MINORITY AS PROVEN BY IMDB AND CRITICAL CONSENSUS"

I said these film franchises have been great for a long time: I.e. The First Class trilogy and the Nolan trilogy. Wasn't talking about anything before then.

I even said there's reason to be "cautiously" optimistic with these 2 films. But jeez have at least some optimism given great quality in recent years and given you said you're a comic book movie fan and not just a MCU fan.

I never questioned that the majority feel that DoFP was a good movie. I said in my opinion it was overrated. So, you typing in all caps is basically you shouting at the choir. You're right, the majority do like DoFP. Doesn't mean I have to.

And no, I don't have to have optimism because the trailers of both Xmen Apocalypse and BvS are "Meh" at best. I hate much of what I see in the Xmen one and there are a few troubling things with the BvS movie. I'm gonna watch both in theaters and see if they can actually be good. If I was a MCU fanboy like you keep telling me that I am; I wouldn't watch anything but MCU films.

Its stupid that Mystique seems to be taking the leader role. Why is she an Xmen in the first place.

In days of future past she was also the focus of the movie. The sentinels were powered by her mutant DNA.

Yep, Just one of the myriad of reasons why I'm not excited for Apocalypse.

EDIT: And honestly, Sophie Turner isn't a good actress. The fact they picked her for Jean Grey is disappointing to say the least.

And I'm the one with 'delicate sensibilities'. 😬

You'll have to excuse me. I'm a bit irritable from dealing with Darth Thor. He's been poking me over and over again and he successfully angered the bear. I can't be blamed for any maulings that occur in the aftermath.

Feel the same, going to watch this in the theaters, but I'm just not hyped about it too much. I like Oscar Isacc's acting generally and the character Apocalypse, but the previews don't do a whole lot to move me.

Because the way you specifically said "In Your Opinion" to me was suggesting like that's not the norm.

Well that's not true at all. The no.1 Anti-DC boy Quanchi watches all the DC movies just to s*** on them. Your lack of enthusiasm for anything DC or Fox Marvel just shows you're generally not interested in anything that's not MCU.

Ah yes, blame me for your raging, after I've been telling you to calm down for hours, and sat through pages of insults from you. Brilliant.

I loved the development Mystique's had in the previous two films (the one in the first three movies was a blank slate in comparison), but I guess there's little denying that she may be getting a little too much focus now which was my main problem with this new trailer, but I suppose when dealing with one like Apocalypse, this Charles would be desperate enough to make her the substitute leader.

With no Jackman they're just using the next most famous face to market the film.

Now sure if it's still a thing but isn't this Jennifer Lawrence's last X-men film?

So, I have to be enthusiastic about movies or else I'm immediately an MCU fanboy? FFS man.....I'm done arguing with you. You're literally not worth the effort.

Yep. But don't tell Darth Thor that or he might brand you a hater/fanboy.

not just hers, but fasbender's and mcavoy's as well.. however if this makes money then I won't be surprised if those three return

Pretty much, but I'll take having too much Mystique over another Wolverine focused film any day. The lesser of the two evils here.

As for this being the current main cast's last X-film, may be too early to say at this point, but hopefully they'll end on a high note here, if so.

No but your apparent lack of any enthusiasm for anything not MCU shows you're really not a fan of comic book movies in general.

Yes you really should shut up.

Robtard clearly is a comic book movie fan. He's always enthusiastic for new Marvel and DC movies. His criticisms are honest and not biased towards the company making it.

Think Fassbender and Macavoy are open to more films, whereas Lawrence has said she's likely done after this.

I'm doing myself a favor and ignoring you. Congratulations you've joined like 2 other people on this whole forums. I'm glad I'll never have to waste my time reading your tripe again. Goodbye.
