First mystique was the direct cause of dofp in the comics just like in the movie. Second mystique worked with the x-men when it suited her or she f***** up and needed help. So this is not uncommon.
Despite that, its an X-men movie. Mystique is Brotherhood, and should remain so. I'm tired of her being a heroine and the center of attention. Give me a grown up Cyclops leading the Xmen to focus on. The poor dude still hasn't been done justice to this day, and he's in my top 3 X-men with Gambit and Nightcrawler..
Definitely see where both sides are coming from on the Mystique thing, so am kinda mixed on it...
Regardless, despite some of the existing problems with this (saying that as a Cyclops fan too), am a lot more confident now that I'll find it more enjoyable than the trainwreck that was BvS, and to think people were looking forward to that more.

Pretty sure he isn't, though don't quote me on it. I think too if he was in, we would've saw him by now.
Before I'd be glad, like his (for the most part) absence in First Class, but DOFP made me appreciate him a bit more again when they don't make him the main focus, and for him to not be present in some form to help against a heavy hitter like Apocalypse feels... I don't know.
