Then post the clip where it was stated.

"the humans think us immortal. Shall we put that to the test?"

That isn't stating that Thor will die. so try again.

Of course it does when added with the fact that thor was shitting his pants in the cage.

No it doesn't, you inferring something doesn't mean it was directly stated.

Of course it does. Implication is enough in this case.

No, it's not...especially when your claim was that it was directly stated.

Ok, diplomatic intervention time.

I do believe that SM is right in the fact that nowhere does it state directly that they are immortal or not.

However, he is certainly NOT in the right about the overall original point, in that the fact that it was stated that they should TEST such immortality with the full expectation of killing Thor should point every person who as seen it with a logical mind to the conclusion that Asgardians can in fact die. Hell, Odin in the 1st Thor movie came very close to actually dying IIRC.

Actually, the overall original point was that the movie never directly stated that the fall would kill Thor..which is what abhi claimed. I can quote his orginal post if you need me to.

It was implied, that's enough.

Your claim was that it was directly stated, the fact that you have to infer meaning from Loki's comment actually proves that it wasn't directly stated.

My claim was that Thor would've died from that crash, that is supported by Loki's claim.

No, your claim was that it was directly stated that Thor would die.
