Jesus' disciples were contemporaries, but you don't accept that.

But you accept George Washington's contemporaries?

This is rank hypocrisy.

He was born in 56. that means he could not have written anything until he as around 20. That is 76 years later. The disciples there ruffly the age of Jesus, and he died at about 30 years old. That would mean that Tacitus would have to intervened a 106 year old disciple in a world were most people did not live longer the 60. It does not add up.

Now apply your same logic and rationale to George Washington's historians/contemporaries and the result is the same.

So, they had the printing press back 100 years after the death of Jesus?

The two time periods do not match as far as technology.

Tacitus also embellished troop records and death records, and in any case I challenged you, JIA, to provide records during Jesus' life. There are none that you have provided. In fact, when I research these individually, the Josephus ones in particular are heavily in dispute.

Unlike Buddha, and Mohammed, Lord Jesus did not live a normal life.

He never married.

He never had children.

He never dated.

He never purchased any real estate.

He never did any of the things that a person who was planning to live on this planet until dying of old age, because He is the Son of God.

He came to this planet as a Human to die for the sins of the world.

Lord Jesus ministered for 3 years, was crucified, buried, raised from the dead, and ascended back to Heaven.

So it makes sense that there wouldn't be extensive records of Jesus' life.

Even the Bible does not mention extensive detail about Jesus' life from birth to age 12, and from age 12 until age 30.

There is a reason for this: it wouldn't help anyone.

Nevertheless, prove to me that George Washington existed.

You side-stepped the issue.

Prove to me that George Washington existed.

Both Jesus and George Washington did exist, but Jesus did not do miracles, and George Washington never chopped down the cherry tree.

I said prove to me that George Washington existed.

If you are unable to do this just concede.

That would only be valid if I said that Jesus did not exist. I did not do that. However, both Jesus and George Washington have untrue stories about them. Thanks for the example. 😄

No, you are avoiding the issue.

I don't believe that you can prove to me that George Washington existed or Buddha.

It's not valid to the debate.

If you cannot prove one thing, then you cannot disprove another.

You cannot prove to me that George Washington or Siddhârtha Gautama existed; therefore, you cannot disprove the numerous signs, wonders, and miracles that Jesus' performed by the power of His Father working in Him.

That is not true. I cannot prove that you are not an intelligent bot. That does not prove that unicorns dance in the spring time.

I didn't think there was an issue that existed that you would avoid.

So George Washington and Siddhârtha Gautama's existence cannot be proven?

So, you didn't get what I said? The fact that you cannot prove one thing is not evidence of anything other then the fact that you can't prove something.

George Washington and Siddhârtha Gautama have nothing to do with the point.

I'm telling you that the signs, wonders, and miracles Lord Jesus performed, the messages He preached, His life and ministry as revealed in the Bible, is true based on the writings of Jesus' contemporaries.

You cannot disprove any of this.

No he can't. But what you need to prove is the Bible's validity. Prove to us that what's in the Bible is truthful and accurate, and not just stories. Prove that to us.

You mean the one guy who wrote about Jesus ~100 years after the death of Jesus? You can believe anything you want to. You can even believe in unicorns dancing in the spring time, but unless you have some convincing proof, you will never persuade any intelligent person.

No, you are mistaken.

I don't have to prove anything.

Neither do you have to prove anything.

But if you want me to prove anything then you first prove to me that George Washington existed.
