Stop spamming this forum with topics from other forums.

I am not aware of any such topic in another forum.

You did not come up with this silly argument on your own. That would be like me saying I invented the iPhone all on my own. It has to be a lie.

The only thing that you know is what you've been spoon-fed by those who came before you.

Now...prove to me that George Washington existed.

Here's a collection of all his personal papers, professional papers, and correspondance.
The first release (Series 2) of The George Washington Papers, 1741-1799 contains forty-one letterbooks (about 8,000 pages), with manuscripts from the years 1774-99. The series includes materials that capture the history of George Washington's life, and, the historical progression of events that led to the founding of the United States of America. The collection can be used to explore key history content such as colonial America, the American revolution, the Constitution, and the Presidency. Subsequent releases will be coming online periodically, culminating in a total of 65,000 documents.
Now, regarding your ridiculous request:

Now, regarding your ridiculous request:

You don't know who wrote those papers.

For all you know a mendicant, charlatan, adolescent, or lunatic wrote those papers.

For the last time, prove to me that Abraham Lincoln existed.

I am offended.

You just accused me of lying.

Have I ever accused you of lying?

An apology is in order.

I didn't say you were lying. I said that if I said that I invented the iPhone all on my own. That would be a lie. 😛

I inferred that you were lying. That is not the same as saying you are a lyre. If I remember right, you told someone else that I was lying. So, you first.

What proof do I have of George Washington being alive?

Do you also want to disprove the life of Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, and all the other founding fathers? Because they were kind of the witnesses as to the alive state of George Washington. We know Thomas Jefferson existed because we can visit his house, see his handwriting, because he marked a place in history that is still tangible.

How do I know Genghis Khan existed? Because they are still finding artifacts today that tell us how he lived, finding artifacts that tell us how he fought.

Anything artifact found relating to Jesus does not necessarily true. We thought we had found his brother's resting place - it turned out to be a fake. We can guess that mount Ararat is the place where Noah's Ark landed, but there is nothing we can take away that can be studied and be given a definite, "oh yes, this really happened.

We even know about DINOSAURS, way way way before Christ, because we've found their damn bones. We can picture what they looked like because of great advancements in archaeology, putting the skeletons together and figuring out how body parts fitted together.

Ancient Egypt : really happened.

Ancient Greece : yup, also really happened.

In order to find Christ provable, there would have to be people who DIDN'T believe in him, because believers have too much bias.

Well, you inferred that I was lying.

Have I ever inferred that you were lying?

I am offended.

Just because I introduced the George Washington issue into the discussion (without any previous knowledge of the topic existing in another forum) to point up the fact that you--and Christians--are in the same boat with regard to what you claim, and whether what you claim is provable or not, that does not mean that I didn't come up with it (i.e. the George Washington analogy) on my own.

So, an apology is in order.

I think the word 'infer' is being misused here.

If its misspelled, then it is my fault. 😮

No, I think JIA is mistaking it for 'imply'.

I infer that deducing that implication leads to extrapolative conjecture which I surmise with eminent contemplation, inquiry, and practicability.

😱

That makes no sense. I thought it would be different.

It's not supposed to make sense per se.

I was just seeing how many big words I could use in a sentence somewhat sensibly.

Prove to me that you were born in the hospital printed on your birth certificate.

Now, when I say prove to me I don't mean show me a copy of your birth certificate, I mean prove to me that the information on it is true.

Since you were just a newborn infant you don't really know for sure that what was typed or printed on your birth certificate is true.

You're just believing what you read, and/or what someone else told you, right?

Be honest.

No matter how far back you go, and no matter how many records you search--you are still just taking someone else's word for it because you were too young to walk out of the hospital and read the name of the hospital on the outside of the building.

So you don't really know anything at that age.

You have to believe and take by faith what someone else told you, right?

Be honest Shakyamunison.

Admit that you are just believing what someone else told you.

You may have been lied to.

This is a stupid line of argument and I will not follow it.

They say the truth hurts.

I'm just pointing up what atheists accuse Christians of all the time, but when we show that atheists do the exact same thing there's a problem.

Your tricks are not the truth. You are trying to prove that you can't prove something and then use it to prove something. You cannot do that. You are only fooling yourself.
