also i think m.night shamalyan is now.. because its at the point where people are gonna give him such critical acclaim no matter how good the movie really was.. if a no name director and writer put out the village you think it would be doing half as well? no, because it was weak.. m night has tallent but people give him too much credit

Bad. It means his moves are immature, point and shoot home videos with little or no substance, that usually appeal to the American Pie crowd, save "Mallrats", that's a pretty solid "coming of age" type movie.
"Catwoman", "The Mummy Returns", and "2 Fast 2 Furious" were never critically acclaimed, therefore, aren't overrated.
In fact, most people hate those movies.
