Im gonna have to agree here. There is no on screen evidence that he died after the blast. As far as we know he was KO'ed. All we have to go on here is he looked like he may be dead but then he grabs the hammer and hes up. Maybe it was Odin commanding the hammer to bring him back (which would then mean it has resurrecting abilities) or maybe not. No proof of it.

Why does he need feats to prove he's stronger than someone clearly smaller than himself? Batman did not have any superhuman characteristics, and most of his takedowns were not through brute strength, which is why Bane folded him inside out.
Thor walked into a government camp and manhandled everyone but the biggest dude there without breaking a sweat. And he did this without ninja training and Bat-prep or Bat-deception. Furthermore, if Thor is old enough as to have inspired the myths (as the film implies), he's been fighting for hundreds of years. So he's probably forgotten more battles than Batman has won.

Hrm, I had absolutely forgotten these scene. I had the earlier scene in the burning pagoda in mind. Batman's technical skill looks higher, I agree.

That's rubbish. He didn't 'tank' the Destroyer; the Destroyer killed him and Odin revived him with all his former powers. In fact, I bet much of Thor's strength is pretty much absent in his human form, and further amplified by the armor of his forefathers that Odin stripped from him.
