Hm. Arenarch only had one feat that might be perceived as 'poor', and that was when the GL of Earth-32 unlocked all the safeties on his ring--forcing it to go critical mass. When he then unleashed the totality of his ring's power on Arenarch, it opened up the faceplate of his armor, which made him uncontrollably release some of his energy:

But as you can see, it was ultimately little more than a page-long inconvenience.
However, I found that showing somewhat inconsistent, given that later in the series, Arenarch willingly opened up his armor's faceplate(for several pages) for the very purpose of releasing controlled energy attacks whilst fighting the alternate Captain Atoms:

He also removed his entire helmet in a completely unrelated comic without incident(Ion: GotU #10):

So yeah...
_______
Aside from that, however, he was portrayed as nigh-unbeatable...
Effortlessly slapping away multiple Supermen--including one of the most evolved versions of Supes we've ever seen on panel(ie. Earth-16 Chris Kent):

And just for a point of reference, the characters Arenarch so effortlessly owned were a collection of "the most powerful heroes and villains from throughout the multiverse.":

ie. they weren't intended to be weak fodder(the ease in which Arenarch slew them notwithstanding.) They were intended to be the best of the best.

🙂
I'm not really convinced either way so far, but I do want to point out that evidence involves presenting it, not just appealing to it. So far Galan's the only one that has presented evidence, or even a means of victory based on feats (referring to common feats would count, of course...no need to show every single scan)
Which isn't to say that Monarch wins. Just that you're not doing much that's convincing in rebuttal.

I'd definitely battlezone this against Rao if he ever mustered up the courage.

lol, fair enough. Like I said, posting each scan isn't necessary. Text references only would suffice. But to the many who are seeing this particular battle for the first time, "evidence supports me" won't be terribly convincing.
I think this is a close match. Both have multiple feats of wrecking top tier heralds by the handful. Monarch seems to have the more exploitable weakness with his suit, but I also think his collective body of feats is more impressive from a raw power standpoint.

Tyrant took on a well fed Galactus and was winning. I don't see this as even being close.
It strikes me as odd that none of Arenarch's other durability feats are being considered... That only a single 'low' showing is being cherry-picked over everything else. One thing is for sure: the 'critical mass' ring attack must have been insanely powerful, given the plethora of other attacks from very powerful beings Arenarch tanked w/o so much as a scratch to show for it.
It also strikes me as odd that the inconsistency of said 'low' showing is being overlooked. Arenarch purposefully removed his faceplate later on in the story, as well as in an entirely different series. Without incident.
But hey, whatever it takes to give Tyrant the win, I guess. 👆

Wasn't that pre-DP? Ah, wait, I remember what you're referring to. Yeah, that's the best point in his favor, no doubt. I'm not sure it makes this definitive, though I agree that no single feat of Monarch's matches it...but that's the type of specific reference that is needed to make the case.
Originally posted by DigiHis powers increased after that not the durability of his suit which was still ripped wide open by prime. Above herald level power breaches it considering herald level power has done so as well.
