It's fine. I'm one of those who hate spoilers, but saying what character a film will focus on is hardly a major spoiler that's going to reduce the entertainment of watching the movie. And we'll all know who the main character is before we see the film anyway (if it's even true).

Although it would be quite surprising if that rumor is true, given the whole generational thing each trilogy is supposed to pass onto.

I was personally expecting Ep. 7 would focus on

Spoiler:
Luke, Han and Leia just to kick off the trilogy with that major excitement given their legendary status. But then their roles substantially decreasing with each film, and the trilogy ending with them hardly having a role. Mark Hamill even just said recently for us not to expect too much from their roles as they're passing on the batton as it were.
