When I said beaten up I didn't necessarily mean physically, I meant more towards emotionally. There are no emotional stakes. Sure Finn gets his ass kicked, but had there been more stakes we would've felt it more as an audience. Had the Han death scene been powerful, Kylo Ren beating up on Finn would be more emotionally stirring and consequently Rey somehow kicking his ass would be more emotionally stirring. Just agree with me.

I did like the film but it was a disappointment. Third best Star Wars film. Nothing has changed except your tampon.
