How is this still going on? Going by recent events in Marvel, I stand by my original post in this thread :

We've already seen how HV can affect Namor. Hyperion KILLED him effortlessly with it. Pre Reboot Superman's HV has sealed holes in reality, reignited a dying sun, and held off Darkseid's Omega Beams. Superman's HV > Hyperion's HV. So if Hyperion insta-killed him, then SUperman would too.
