does that suit he's wearing have a speedometer in it? Exactly how does it make sense for him to keep asking them how fast he needs to go?

🙄

In the comics The Flash(s) have like a "built in" speedometer. They are able to gauge their speed almost perfectly.

MACH ONE...

good ep from tuesday.. I am glad that they slowly but surely gauging his speed.. Can;t wait to see how they tackle the speedforce

yeah, which is why it makes no sense that he keeps asking them for help, the writers are just shoehorning the nerds in to make them relevant.

also, Iris is annoying.

Well you asked "does that suit he's wearing have a speedometer in it?" so I was giving you the best answer possible. Anyways just because he knows how fast he is running doesn't mean he knows how fast he needs to run. I won't lie though these questions are things he should already know the answer to. They are doing what they did in the 90s series but not to the same extent. In the 90s series Barry seemed to know nothing about science at all. Tina McGee was his go to science nerd. At least in this show he does seem to be a genius.

Also I have read the woman that played Tina McGee in the 90s has been cast to play her again in this show. I hope this time they get her husbands back story right because I would like to see Speed Demon. They could even make it that he wanted to be like the flash and so he developed Velocity 9. Then they could have it so the drug got out and people were over dosing. I know this is all drawn from Wally's "run" in the 80s but it doesn't seem to be a big deal to them to mix and match. And I know it was Vandal Savage that made Velocity 9 but I doubt they bring him into the show.

three villains appear this episode...

Spoiler:
Girder, Clock King and Blackout

Spoiler:
Clock King I guess is the same one from Arrow; but haven't watched that episode. He was an interesting addition and would like to see more of him.

However, this show doesn't believe in recurring characters it seems. Girder and Blackout were apparently killed off, so Barry's secret is safe. Not sure why they keep doing that.

After last nights episode I must say

Spoiler:
Im getting even more doubtful that Eddie is Zoom. If he was then he would have healed and everyone would have noticed. Im sure there are ways they could write that off so if they are doing that to just throw us off...its working lol

So what is Dr. Wells intentions? Good or evil?

In my opinion Wells has the Hunter Zolomon type of personality/Intention.

Yeah thought the same thing a few pages back

If you go by the comics,
Spoiler:
Eddie (Eobard) Thawne
is Professor Zoom.
Spoiler:
He's Iris' boyfriend in the show. Unless he is the descendent of Professor Zoom and the doctor really is zoom

We won't have to wait long for Zoom to actually appear. Images have already been leaked of Zoom fighting Barry

Just a thought, they could make
Spoiler:
the professor from the future be Hunter Solomon (Zoom II) trying to make the hero be a better hero. Eddie could still be Professor Zoom.

Hunter in the comics was paralyzed , but wasn't from the future or a genius but could switch it up

I just assumed Zoom is from the future. Eddie in the current hasn't become Zoom yet, but future him is running around mucking up the timeline.

Cool episode. I was hoping for a Clock King encounter. It would have been cool seeing him putting Barry through trials and giving estimations on how long it would take to get him to do something. I expected a 'race against the clock' kind of encounter with Barry's second ever human adversary.

Spoilers of last 2 episodes in my Post:

Wells must be either a version of Zoom out working alongside him Imho.

Too coincidental that when Iris' s Dad shows Wells what he's working on that Zoom threatens him.

The blood sample Wells stole will probably be used to turn Thawne into another Zoom (or the original).

I thought the same about your second point but then I thought that it seemed a little too easy of a conclusion so while that is still a good thought imo it could just be them trying to lead us somewhere. As for the third part....I never even thought of it like that but that could be it. This could actually be an origin story for Zoom.

Interesting theory about Dr Wells

It's also the fact that Wells was pretty closed minded about the idea that a speedster could have somehow existed Pre-Particle Accelerator. Given what Barry can do, and what he saw happen to his Mother years earlier, it seems anyone's mind would at least be curious if there's a possible connection.

So I think he at the very least knows something about that. Something he's purposefully hiding (as he does).

Well it is something to chew on for sure. Plus the article I posted above about Dr. Wells being in Superfriends is interesting.
