Also, they are really trying to hammer it in that Wally is faster than Barry was at this point in his super career. Guess they want to be able to get past the jobber/noob phase as quickly as possible, and have a viable explanation for it.
I'm alright with it.
Also, I'm glad the ended the midseason finale off with a nice little christmas bow. I didn't need another cliffhanger ending until next season. It gives it a bit of finality and makes the wait easier.

Oh, I don't mind that Wally shows better potential. I just get annoyed that they seem to feel the need to remind us every episode. We already knew he was faster when he hit mach 2 after like 3 days of having powers, when it took Barry the whole of season 1 to reach that level of speed.
Catching up on my Flash eps from the latest season. On episode 3. So they whine at Wally for trying to get hit by a car to get powers, including Jesse, but she thinks the moment she gets speed she should be able to run out and within like 2 hours be fighting Zoom and shit.
Also I feel like smashing my head into a wall seeing Barry whine at Wally about poor choices. Does Barry not remember..the past few days?
They didn't want him to put his life at risk for a possibility. If he died and didn't get powers, he basically just killed himself for nothing.
She got the powers and wanted to help. HEr wanting to use them has nothing to do with Wally being reckless so he can get powers too, as Jesse didn't go out and do something potentially fatal just to get her speed.

So what's the point of having Mr.Terrific around if he's not doing anything terrific. Also I'm willing to play devil's advocate for the filler episode that was Arrow, atrocious jobbing of Deathstroke, Darhk, and Merlin withstanding, in that it made for a better "For the Man who has everything" type episode than the one Supergirl introdued. If it wasn't blantant filler in a supposed big crossover even I think it would be better received: again jobbing of villains withstanding.
Other than that this crossover kind of sucks but Flash/Arrow vs the World was kind of interesting. It also does nothing to convince me that either Arrow or Supergirl are worth watching.
I totally agree about Mr. Terrific but I disagree the crossover as a whole made me want to check out supergirl a lil more and arrow a lil less.
I think the fact that Wally shows more potential than Barry has at least a little bit to do with the fact that Cisco and Co are better at testing speed than they were when Barry first got his powers. They have better equipment and a better understanding of the speed force now than they had at the start.

I love how in the SAME episode they try to search the multiverse for more Harrison Wells, lmao!
These people never learn. It truly boggles the mind.
Wait they ask new Harry to come here without telling him he's a known murderer there and pretty much would need to be on house arrest? Lol, dicks.
Also wait they ask Barry not to tell them about their Flashpoint lives and then in this episode(episode 6) Iris and Wally are all "why didn't you tell us?".
I'm starting to think the dark matter blast possibly causes brain damage in addition to superhuman powers. Remember what Joe said: everyone got hit. So I'm guessing people have a higher chance of experiencing brain damage than they do of getting powers.
I just kept waiting for him to run away screaming "Wait til my father hears about this".
Ah yes good times with Draco and his Dad. Like remember that time he tried to murder a 12 yr. old at Hogwarts because he freed his house elf, with Dumbledore not that far away? Yeah..wait, that was pretty dark actually.
