Yeeaahhh, that whole exchange was a joke. He left an opportunity for some innuendo, and I took it. Obviously if he's looking for additions to the spank bank, he's looking elsewhere.

Read my responce, has nothing to do with fapping, Digi was kidding.
Also my porn history would leave your unborn grandkids scarred for life if you watched it.

Interspecies homosexual bestiality, eh. ****ing Soviets.

Is good, da?

Who wouldn't want to see an African bull elephant mount a male white rhino. Probably gives people ASMR.

I'll spare you all the details, let's just say it involves a couple of conjoined twin midgets, a jar of peanut butter and a unicycle.

Holy shit...this video...ASMR feels all over....

I just now noticed this thread. I've been following the ASMR community since a bit before they even had that acronym in wide use, I've always had really, really bad insomnia related to some other things that keep me awake, so it was something I came across looking for white noise years ago.

As an aside, I've noticed I can actually get ASMR from reading descriptions of actions, the sorts of actions that I'd normally get ASMR from seeing and hearing, such as someone painting a picture. Anyone else ever get this?

ASMR as a sleep aid is probably its widest use. Many videos are specifically targeted at this. I've never experienced the description thing you mention, but everyone is different.

On an unrelated note (to your post, not the topic), here's a link to my new favorite ASMR channel:

Heather Feather is one of my favorite ASMR uploaders. 👆

I really like Feather's Brain Pause RP, but she's not usually one of my favourites. Which is not to say she isn't great, she is, she just doesn't seem to cause the ASMR response in me to the same degree.

VeniVidiVulpes, ASMRRequests, Bill MaxVoxPax, Ephemeral Rift, are all really good, and probably my favourites for dedicated ASMR channels atm.

If you're looking to get to sleep check out Math Whisperer, though.

Here is another good artisan video that gave me mild ASMR feels. It is the making of a watch:

There's become a distinction for me, where I am relaxed by some videos and enjoy them in a hypnotic way (this video qualifies), but they don't give me "tingles" per se. I think part of it is diminishing returns after watching a bunch of ASMR videos. But it's always been easier for me irl than on videos, so that's part of it too. If I got to see a watch being made irl, I'd probably melt.

In related news, I had a 1-hour massage with my gf the other day as a birthday gift from her. It was spec-damn-tacular. I highly recommend it, despite the (probably prohibitive) price.

Yes, I'm noticing the ASMR desensitization. I try to limit my video watching on these things to like...once every 2 months.

Also, some back massages give me complete and full ASMR feels. This one old man who had what he labeled as a "Vietnamese" style massage practice gave me the most relaxing and ASMR-ish massage I've ever had. In his own right, he's an artisan, too: decades of honing his craft to perfection. Someone should do a documentary on that guy. Maybe a short 10-minute one where he explains his techniques and demonstrates them. To date, I have never run into anyone who employed his techniques in a massage (and before anyone tries to make this sexual, Robtard, he did nothing of the sort. He just had excellent techniques for relaxing the muscles and giving an enjoyable massage).

Usually, I get deep-tissue massages from my employee's wife. Those are almost NEVER comfortable. I should get one of those relaxing massages, like you describe.

It was "medium" pressure, as she put it. There were moments of discomfort, but the overall experience was very relaxing. If I had the money, I'd get one like once a month.

I'm not too concerned with desensitization. It's still relaxing to me, even if I don't achieve full tingle, so to speak. I have a video on in another tab as I write this, for example. Without my full concentration, I'm not going to experience tingles. But it's still enjoyable. So...I dunno. I guess I'm ok with quantity over quality.

Someone needs to make like, an ASMR roleplay based in a torture chamber or something.

Um. How bout a hug? I think you need a hug.

*hugs Nemebro (no homo)*

Feel better?

If you really need this scenario, find some BDSM porn, turn the sound down to about 4, and put some ambient music on in the background.

What a fruitcake.

Your idea worked by the way.

😂

Anyone heard about ASMR? Stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response. Fancy name for brain tingles. Like peeling the plastic coating off of electronics, a great massage, or just someone speaking to you in a soothing voice.

I don't know if it's an actual medical thing, or if it's just something the internet came up with. In any case, there are entire Youtube channels devoted to it. Relaxing as all hell, though.

I knew about the phenomenon for years, but never knew it had a name (or an internet following) until about an hour ago. It can be great to relax and enjoy, though.

Here's one of the better channels I've found for it, which admittedly is all of about 15 minutes of browsing various links:

This shit is great, thanks Digi.
