Also, why couldn't Digi just... sidestep him? You know, with his superior boxing footwork? Then Delph will be stumbling and trying to redirect all that momentum, leaving him clumsy. Grand Wizard Digi would proceed to lightup his face with a flurry of ferocious blows that would be very damaging to said face.

Or did you not mean like a full-speed rush towards him? If that is the case, boxing's superior footwork wins out again and he just continues to use his superior speed and conditioning to wear the more out of shape Delph down.
